Jon Baldwin with the NFL.com crew
Pretty cool stuff...good praise in there
Another Allen Bailey article
Everything I've heard about this guy is that he's an athletic freak. Being recognized as by far the strongest player on the U's football team is impressive

"I'm a lucky dude. She said yes!"
Apparently Mr. Irrelevant isn't so irrelevant to one lady...Congrats to him
check out the link, his profile pic has his girl in it....another chief joining the hot wife program lol
No Ryan or Tyson
According to bobgretz.com free portion....the charter flight to cleveland was short o'callaghan and tyson jackson

Another one bites the dust
The website Chiefsinformer is done. Brandon shut it down. Just thought you guys should know!
A letter to Larry
Check out the article Brandon Spano wrote over at ChiefsInformer. I assume most everyone on here would agree that it sums up our feelings towards Larry. It's a good read, check it out! Link
Brad Cottam...Damn Him
April fools! Especially to arrowheadpride... Facebook status spreads like wildfire... Haha
NOOOOOOOOOO
Brad Cottam's Facebook status!!!
"Just my luck, fractured my metatarsals on second day of jogging...4 month setback, guess i have to keep goin though"
AP's boy! Eric Berry haha..check it out
Dez Bryant
Is it just me or is anyone else starting to really think Dez Bryant could be our #5 pick. The man honestly could end up being one of the best receivers in the league. All you guys who want us to trade for Anquan or another receiver, why not just draft a stud like Bryant. Imagine Bowe, Bryant, Chambers, Lawrence
The Real Tebow?
Hey guys,
The front page article about Tebow giving people goosebumps made me think that I need to share my information about Tebow and maybe his true character.
I'm a senior at Morningside College in Sioux City, Ia. A kid named Beau Kildow, who set all kinds of receiving records here and also owns a 4.0 gpa majoring in biology and chemistry, was invited to New York for the William Cambel trophy. The article is here. Anyway, there were tons of the big name D1 kids there and of course Tebow. Kildow is one of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet and doesn't gloat about anything. Tebow won the award of course. Kildow came back to campus and said that all the guys there were really nice, especially colt mccoy and eric decker. But, there was a guy there who separated himself from everyone else by being arrogant and just like he is above everyone else in the room. He sat off by himself and didn't talk to anyone. He said that the media sure paints a pretty picture of him and he says the right things when the lights are on, but there's a hidden side of him that might not be so good....some may call it fake.
So theres my side of Tebow
AP Petition
Hey guys. This huge Chiefs win got me asking myself what was different about this team today than the rest of the season. Sure there's the obvious statement that it's a new decade and we are 1-0 in 2010. You can look at an offense that finally started to click, and a head coach that decided to be aggressive early on. Maybe the team really likes Haley and wanted to win for him and try to secure a spot on the team next year....or was it Jamaal Charles knowing he is the man and that no one can tackle him and that he wants to rush for a league record next year.
I'm sure all you would agree with these reasons (well besides the haters)...but this isn't the reason the Chiefs won at Invesco for the first time, it was because I watched the game in Florida. So here is my petition for AP to come up with some money and fly me to Florida or buy me a house in Florida for all of the Chiefs road games (since I have season tickets I'll go to the home games). What do you think Chiefs fans, how bad do you want that winning record :) lol
But in all reality, I have a feeling that Jamaal could set the NFL single season rushing record next year and has the ability to have another day like today with a couple more long runs and rush for over 300 in a game....he's done it before, check out his college stats.
Here's to a good offseason and excitement for next year!!!
GGGGOOOOOOO CHHHIIIIIEEEEFFFSSS!!!!
and HAWKS :)
Game tomorrow
Just wanted AP to know that I will be watching the game tomorrow at a bar on the beach in Ft Lauderdale, Florida in shorts! On vacation down here for the Orange Bowl and the Hawkeyes....Much better than the -25 degrees it was in Sioux City today....GOOOO CHIEFS!
Iupati
He's playing right now on ESPN. Looks like a big, mobile, badass. I know he's popped up a lot on our 2nd round pick. Looking good
Anthony Davis
Todd McShay has us taking Anthony Davis from Rutgers in the draft. He just declared that he is entering and is the #1 rated tackle prospect. 6'6 325 pounds
Berry a return man?
Could Eric Berry solve our punt return problems too? He did play qb in high school and has shown to be a pretty dangerous return man was he gets his hands on a pick....a lot of teams do put their safety back their for punts...could happen, think about it :)
From Dbowe's facebook page. Probably the reason he was late the other day
"R.I.P. my Untie/Mama. She is in a better place right now. Pray for me. its been a rough year for me and my Family. GOD FIRST ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Cassel Decleater
I didn't notice this on Sunday but the NFL live guys just showed the highlight of Cassel de-cleating 2 Eagles on 1 play Sunday. It was the play where Bradley threw the pass. I hope someone can find a link to a video and share it. There's a guy who has some passion for football

leonard pope highlight
Check out that highlight. I really think that Pope and Cottam are the future of this team. I still don't completely understand why Cottam isn't getting more playing time, I think he will make plays if given the opportunity. Think of the redzone threats we would have with a double tight-end set with Pope and Cottam and then split out Dbowe. I don't think you can overthrow these guys. Is it official? Do we have the tallest tight-end set in the NFL? Let's hope Haley opens the playbook up and let these 2 guys cause matchup problems. A defense might have 1 guy who could match up decent with one of them, but there will be a mismatch on the other one. I want to see what they have and they could be a huge blanket for Cassel this weekend when he's running for his life against the Giant. I would love to see him be able to just throw it in the middle to these 2 giants and move the ball atleast. Make it happen!
Dorsey, No knee brace?
Did anyone else notice that Dorsey had his knee braces off Sunday. This is the first time since he became a Chief he hasn't had them on and he looked a lot more explosive. Coincidence? I think not

August 7, 2009 Training Camp
Well in the middle of posting this last night, the storms that came through knocked out the internet in our hotel so I decided to finish it this morning. Pictures of yesterday's morning and afternoon practice where Tyson arrived in shape and made an impact on the dline right away! The guy in the picture is Amani Toomer's dad. I talked to him throughout the morning practice, he showed up and surprised Amani yesterday morning from California. He said Amani was excited to be here and thought that the Chiefs were going to be above .500 this year! I also got to see the replica super bowl ring that Amani gave him after the Giants won, hope he can give him another one from the Chiefs!
Well here are my thoughts from both of yesterday's practice.
1) Every time I see Cassel lead the team all I can think is that it is nice to finally have a young smart and tough QB to lead us. It is a night and day difference in watching Cassel lead the team compared to Brody and Tyler. He goes through all of his reads very quickly and once he makes his mind he is decisive and gets a nice accurate ball out.
2) Pollard looks like he is set for a pro-bowl level season and the 2 brandon's should play at that level too.
3) When Tyson came out in the afternoon and ran with the first team....the D looked pretty awesome, that is going to be some line with Tyson, Tank, and Dorsey...gotta love it.
4) Tamba has been playing primarily at LOLB and he has looked good coming off the edge and chasing down QB's, even though he still has bitten on the play action boot leg several times.
5) Corey Mays, #51, looks pretty good stepping in for Zach, hopefully we found the future?
Extra-Got LJ, Alex Magee, Tank, Ron Edwards, and Mike Cox for autographs yesterday.

River Falls, August 6
Hey guys,
Just want to first say sorry it has taken me so long to get anything on here. Once you get to River Falls you seem to keep busy lol. Also I am not sure if this many pictures on a post are acceptable or if any of you want to see them since I know UWRF posts like a thousand pictures a day, so let me know if you like them or not or if it's acceptable to do. All I can say from today is that I forgot how much fun watching training camp is up here. It is awesome, the players are jacked up and you can really get involved in how practice is going and the attitude of the team. And seeing big Albert today signing autographs after practice I couldn't believe a 300 pound man could look like that...that man is stacked, crazy. So most of the updates from practice is basically what I saw...I would just like to mention some of the main things I noticed.
1) Haley is in charge. No doubt to anyone on the practice field. (last year Herm was just kind of there)
2) Our D is looking awesome, I couldn't believe how good everyone was looking together as a unit today....there is a huge difference between the way they look this year compared to last. They are active, fast, strong, and constantly pressuring. They are going to be a nice surprise this year and give opposing teams a lot of trouble.
3) Tank is constantly exploding through o-lineman, he will not be our weakspot. Dorsey and Magee both looked good, can't wait to see Tyson tomorrow morning. Also, our secondary is going to be the best in the league, with some pass rush this year the QB's are going to have a headache.
4) B Albert is a stud. Constantly getting approval from coaches. Waters taking all the snaps at center on 7-7 was interesting to me...how about this line...Albert-Richardson-Waters-Goff-Taylor??
5) Brodie is so tiny compared to Cassel...no wonder why he was always hurt!
6) Finally, Devard Darling was stupid today......andddd Who is Ready for Opening Day!!!!
PS..Thanks to Joel for the help
