I don't know who has noticed this, but Edmonton has lost 7 straight, and are now only 7 points behind the Carolina Hurricanes for last place and rights to either Taylor or Tyler, depending on who Edmonton views as the next great one. We have one advantage over Edmonton: even if Edmonton loses the rest of their games this season, it's no guarantee that they can catch the Canes. All the canes have to do at this point is go 3-40-0-- according to my math-- the rest of the way and we'll have locked up the Taylor or Tyler sweepstakes-- all that would be left to do is win the draft lottery. Take that Edmonton!!!
