CougCenter Villanueva has committed

The staff got a verbal out of this weekends visits. Fernando Villanueva is a 6'7" 285 pounder out of the San Jose area. He said he loved his visit and that he flet at home in Pullman. Told the staff he would like to play on the D-line. You have got to love the big bodies that are lining up in the past few weeks of recruiting. Love tha the guys gettin ginto town and tasting the Coug lifestyle are literally eating it up. Well done staff--- brong on the girth!

CougCenter Bone Lands a Big

According to the 'other network' the Cougs got a commit form DJ Shelton the 6'9" 220 pounder out of Citrus JC.

He has 3 to play 3. So let the scholarship or lack thereof chatter and speculation about who goes and who stays begin!! I am glad to see a pair of thicker guys coming in to WAZZU in Shelton and Sequele. I saw Sequele and he is a banger. Raw and somewhat undisciplined- but does nots hy away from contact. Reminds me a lot of Casto as a frosh. Like the paint and mixing it up. Beginning to see the signs of what a Bone team will look like. Length at guard and shotter wings with a pair of taller guys who can run and board a bit. Me likey.... Go Cougs!

CougCenter Nembot goes soft - again

Not any sort of nyeh nyeh to the dawgs or a rehash of his leaving his verbal to the Cougs. Just wanted to point it out as a classic example of the tenuous nature of this recruiting process and the fanciful notions of 17-18 year old guys. Now Colorado is in the picture... or are they? Supposedly the big OT Amiata (sp?) out of Hawaii is looking around too. Yikes- grab your three stars and hang on coaches- here comes the domino effect of the 11th hour... never know, we may get our Bumpus, Mizell too... Go Cougs

CougCenter Nembot is gone

Worst of all he went to the dawgs. These final weeks are always a roller coaster, but I was sorry to see this kid go- I saw him play down here in socal, and while raw, I liked his game.

What do these early verbals do except get expectations high for the fans? Frustrating. There is obviously no hands off going on with the other schools... I was wondering if the recent DT add of Tuliaupupu was in response to a possible known defection on the horizon. Could lose Nembot and Sankey to the west siders... grr. Fasten your seat belts, it going to be a bumpy couple weeks.  Go Cougs

CougCenter Florida Pipeline is a Gusher

Reports are coming in that three more kids from Florida have decided on the Palouse!

WR's Isiah Myers six foot w/ 4.6 speed, and the smaller burner Henry Eaddy  at 5'8 w/ a 4.46 clocking. Also a 6' 1" 210 lb. MLB in Daryl Monroe. Two stars on all of them right now, but it is 'off season'. The senior year frequently adds to the dosage. Nice pipeline flowing up from the sunshine state.

CougCenter Maxx Forde on Board

Looks like a tasty legacy has decided to GO COUGS just like his daddy did. 3 star DE out of Woodenville has opted for Crimson according to Cougfan!!! This class is shaping up very nicely Coug fans...veeeeery nicely indeed! You have to like the job this staff is doing on the recruiting trail- filling needs and grabbing some good number prospects. Speed and size and a legacy-- what ore could we Coug fans ask for in a recruit!!!??? Go Cougs!!!
