ESPN reports a possible violation of O.J. Mayo accepting money, a flat screen TV, clothes, etc.

What Tim Floyd and USC said about this incident is flat out hilarious...First, they claim that Mayo is a poor kid from Virginia (to borrow Pat Forde's words, a misunderstood eagle scout!!) who couldnt even afford a large cell phone bill. Yet, when Mayo received a TV, clothes, and other stuff, they didn't know such practices was going on.

First, Bush then mayo. It seems denying about every wrong doing is the policy of USC athletics and USC should change its motto to "Deny on!!"

In the mist of Gundy going crazy on redbull and steroids, people probably forgot about Bobby Reid and how he felt about the whole situation. Although this article deeply sympathizes with Reid (maybe waaay too much), I think it is worth reading.

He was probably too soft/injury prone to be a good qb. The comparison to Vince is freaking ridiculous. However, this story reaffirms how ridiculous and retarded Gundy really is.

I know we are nearing march madness and spring training just started, but I thought it would be nice to keep track of the offseason moves by the Titans. It seems like they are being pretty aggressive in the offseason: fired Chow, signed Justin Gage (only productive/reliable WR) to multi-yr deal, and added Crumpler who is probably the third best TE after Gonzales and Gates.

Getting Moss would be a wishful thinking huh....hahah

So does this mean Scaife will be released? I doubt they will use double TE sets (Titans RBs are not quick/fast enough)

I dont know how bad of a concussion bradford had, but seeing OU getting demolished by Tech got me thinking...maybe they end the season like we did last year?

Last year, after an early loss, UT was playing great and even had an impressive win over OU. There were talks of contending for a national title and a heisman for the young qb.

Then you know the rest of the story...unsuspecting UT team rolls into Kansas State and loses colt on the first drive and have an incredibly incredibly miserable day...UT drops its season finale against A&M to close out the year....

This sounds a lot like OU this past saturday...seeing how bradford was unable to play for rest of the game, the concussion he received may have been quite severe. I saw murray got banged up at the end of tech game, and I really believe that cowpokes has a legitimate chance of beating OU. Maybe once for all, gundy will prove he is indeed a man.

This will be a dream-come-true turn of events for UT. (knocking on some major wood)

Some classless and idiotic aggies have been tagging up our beautiful campus. I threw up instantly when I saw "gig 'em" spray-painted near welch. And I also noticed a UT maintenance truck tagged with "ATM" on its hood yesterday.

Now, I can only suspect that these immature acts are done by A&M grads doing graduate studies at UT. UT's superiority over A&M in almost every aspect must have drove these poor bastards mad...maybe some of these fools were celebrating the fact that franchione was comtemplating a buyout?

Whatever the reason is UT needs to look at its hidden surveillance cameras and bring charges against them...

Lessons from this season

This season has been inconsistent and disappointing up to this point. But I think this season has taught us many important lessons as well...

1. NEVER EVER EVER take a win for granted: call it a year of upsets, but wow ...style points are sometimes HARD to come by in college football

2. Offseason distractions are truly disastrous to the team : arrests..arrests...arrests...

3. Keeping the players in school is CRUCIAL!! especially offensive linemen: sometimes I wonder how this season might have been different if the 2 linemens didnt flunk out.

4. Duane Akina is a noob and his schemes are absurd at times : Is McDuff helping this guy out at all?

5. Colt is a player who will get booed on one drive and cheered on the next : example-Nebraska game, hes tough as hell..

*I believe bashing GD is simply waste of time at this point....sigh...

any thoughts?
