My First Trip to Invesco
As the title states the upcoming Colts vs. Broncos game will be my first trip to Invesco Field @ Mile High. I am hoping that I can get some advice about the best places to park and good places for pre-game. Any advice that Broncos' fans can provide will be greatly appreciated. Any other words of wisdom or pieces of advice on how to make the gameday experience best for a first timer would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Saints fan doesn't think Peyton Manning is Valuable!
Ignore the fact that the author is in serious need of Hooked on Phonics, and try to comprehend his point that the Colts would be a legit' contender sans Manning...
Best Caldwell Article Yet?
I frame it as a question because everyone needs to decide for themself. However, for me the answer was absolutely. Very well researched and does a good job showing the breadth of Caldwell's knowledge. Article also does a good job illustrating why Caldwell will be successful.
A commitment to Special Teams? Colts sign safety Aaron Francisco...
He probably wont play much safety, but his agent says he won't embarass the team and apparently he's pretty good at ST.
Did he really just call Marvin a binky?
I understand what he is saying... but a binky, damn.
Camp report from Westside Rob (via 18to88)
Great work by Rob, definately worth the time to check out. Big thanks to the Zombie bros. for providing a forum for Rob and the rest of us Colt's fans to get a little training camp fix.
Prisco's camp report
Overall, this is the best MSM report I have read this offseason. You have to check it out.
Prisco's conclusion:
"That is why this Colts team will be like the last six: Damn good."
Prisco on the Colts
Nothing we Colt's fans don't already know. But hey, it will help you kill some time at work...
Clayton on the Colts
He gets a few small pieces of info wrong, but overall, it's a decent read.
Favre says he is done... Thank God!
You can never trust what he says but... we will see.
Colts sign Jerraud Powers
7 more to go...
Pats Pulpit Calls Peyton Manning Overrated (Colts D also)
BLOG WAR!!! How bout your 16 and 0 Patriots being overrated... 18 and 1 ring a bell? Everything about them was overrated, the dominant offense, the shutdown defense, and your primadonna QB. They got smacked up by PM's little brother. Oh yeah, how is the Colts D overrated (don't people have to think you are good to be overrated?) For the record, I have alot of respect for the Patriots and their organization. I am just taking the bait, you know we have to stand up for Peyton. Oh yeah, jk about the whole blog war thing.
Sporting News says Jim Caldwell is the NFL's 28th best head coach
Wow I really thought this was bull shit! I dont know how to elaborate more than that. Knocking the guy because PM is his QB? Doesn't make sense.
Marvin Done?
18to88 says Peter King is reporting that Marvin is done. Appears like their link is busted though.
Great Dungy Articles
Some good reading to keep everybody entertained on hump day. Both of these articles are on 18to88 and very much worth reading. Just reinforces what everyone already knows; Tony Dungy is a Great Man!

Interesting Article About Edge
The article reiterates the point that Edge wants out of Arizona. Also that an interesting place for him to land would be Indy. Being that the article comes from PFT it is purely rumor and conjecture but interesting none the less. I think I speak for many Colt's fans when I say that I would love to see Edge retire as a Colt. At the same time at the age of 31 (when the 2009 season starts) he isn't a long term answer to the Colts RB situation. Another thought; who's to say that Edge would be content backing up Joe Addai, or vica versa.

Mocking the Draft
I don't know if everyone else is aware of this site. But it is awesome. Mocking Dan is constantly blogging up a storm and 3 of our Stampede Blue Bloggers are contributing. It looks like they need some more fan traffic and comments. Check it out!
Dallas Clark Still Not in the Pro Bowl
Bull Fuckin Shit! Sorry to start off in such a vulger tone. However, I like many Colt's fans thought that Dallas Clark got snubbed when he wasn't named to the Pro Bowl in the first place. Now, Antonio Gates has pulled out and his replacement is none other than Owen Daniels. Now I like Daniels, but is he a better Tight End than Clark, NO FUCKING WAY! I dont remember seeing that Daniels was the alternate when the Pro Bowl Results were announced, but the fact that the combined votes of the fans, coaches, and players can't even acknowledge Clark as at least the third best Tight End (more like the first or second in my opinion) in the AFC is asinine. We all know the Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest, but whoever thought that Owen Daniels was more Popular than Dallas Clark, let alone a better Tight End.
Ron Meeks new DC for Carolina
I am somewhat hesitant to post anything that I see on PFT. That being said they are reporting that Meeks has been hired as Carolina's new Defensive Coordinator. I was not a huge fan of letting Meeks go, especially considering we don't know for certain who his replacement is (Coyer is still only a hypothesis.) Best of luck to Meeks, and all those fans in Carolina who were pissed when the G-Men ran all over them, that might start happening alot more.

Ray Rychleski Colts ST Coach
Everyone say hello to the Colt's new Special Teams Coach. There is not much information in the article. Maybe some of my fellow Colt's fans can find out a little more about him. I found this link over on the Colts.com board. Some of the people over their tend to think that Ray Rychleski has a little fire in the belly. See Ya Russ!
