I am starting to worry about the LHN getting carried by September 3rd.  Is there any plan by epsn to show the Rice game on a different channel if the LHN isnt up and running by September 3rd?  I hope that the plan is not to just show the game on espn 360, because I only have a laptop and 15 inchs is not enough for a Longhorn football game, especially when folks are gathering together at a house to watch the game.

Everyone knows a bandwagon fan when they see one. Just look at the rangers fan base last year when they went so far in the playoffs. However, the question I would like to pose to the good folks of BON is what really makes a true fan? Is it dedication? Can a person be a true fan if they commit their heart and soul to Texas during football season, but not baseball season? What about contributing to the school? Would it be required of a true fan to donate money to Texas?  The reason I ask this question is simple. I live in Lubbock.....let that sink in for a moment. I am almost constantly in debates with folks that live here about why I am such a die hard fan of Texas when my house is no more than 3 minutes from tech campus.   The question that ALWAYS  gets brought up is " did you attend Texas". I of coarse did not have the pleasure of going to Texas. The argument is then made that if I don't live in Austin, and didn't go to Texas than I am no more than a "t-shirt" fan, and I don't count among the fan base for Texas.  I know alot of BON members went to Texas, so what is your opinion of fans that did not attend Texas? Can a person be a true fan without attending the University?

Assuming Malcolm doesent decommit this year, is anyone else drooling to the thought of the Jaxon and Davis duo with Brown pounding the ball next year? The duo will also be improved with Gilbert having a full year under his belt and possibly White contributing a little bit.  Im sure GD will find a way to hamper their true talent, but just the thought of a productive offense makes me salivate like a dog looking at a steak

I have been playing fantasy college football  for a couple years now, and like our online dynasty I believe we will have good competition in the league.  I have it set up for up to 15 teams, but two of those are already accounted for (myself and another BON member that my good friend here in Lubbock. )  So 13 more guys or so to fill the league.
