Per Espn...

Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has been ruled ineligible for violating an NCAA bylaw, the school announced Wednesday.

Bryant, an All-American who is ranked ninth overall on Mel Kiper Jr.'s most recent Big Board, was ruled ineligible by the school because he failed to fully disclose his interaction with a former NFL player to the NCAA.

Oklahoma State has already begun the process of applying to the NCAA for Bryant's reinstatement, the school said. He sat out Oklahoma State's last game against Grambling State.

Burnt Orange Nation Big 12 Revival

With all the SEC/Pac 10, and now Big East hype, I can't help but think that the Big 12 has nowhere to go but up, at least in terms of coverage. Notwithstanding the ISU loss tonight, the Big 12 will have ample chances to sun the Southeasterners, starting this Saturday in Athens with Okie State. As PB noted, they'll put up points, and if they can put up some semblance of defense they'll have shot.

Also, the KSU (ugh) game vs. Auburn could be interesting, and Nebraska could shake things up against USC (the only home game of the three for the Big 12.)

If we could pull out even one of these games, it could send a very strong message and give our strength of schedule a huge boost.

Burnt Orange Nation A&M sucks

This weekend alot of social organizations at A&M are having "Mardi Gras" parties.  Let's see... Mardi Gras ended last Tuesday with the arrival of Ash wednesday. Over a half a week behind the times...that seems about right for College Station/Bryan whatever they want to be called now a days.
