Being from az and a big asu fan ive always loved his game. Rightnow he's a 2-3 rounder. With his physical skills i think he'd be able to play strong side olb for us. I know his character is part of the reason he's dropped but i believe this team would be able to handle him. Our defense would have speed and power comparable to the 49ers and Ravens

Blogging The Boys A Fool's Mock

Here's what I'd like to see happen with Dallas' Draft this year!

Round 1. Maurkice Pouncey C/G Florida

Maybe too early to pick him in some people's eyes. But I love his potential. Versitile, and could have an immediate impact for either Guard spot or Center if someone goes down to injury. Our lineman arent getting any younger.

Round 2. Nate Allen S USF

Great Range and excels in Zone Coverages. Ballhawk that we need at the safety position. Reliable tackler and a Safety version of Mike Jenkins in terms of playmaking ability. Though not the fastest athlete, he makes up for it with amazing instinct

Round 3. Selvish Capers OT West Virginia (6'5 308)

I'd like Free to eventually be our LT and I expect Flo to be there one more year. So for our possible solution at a future RT, I liked Capers.  Being a former tight end, he has great athleticism. Very good run-blocker and is considered one of the fastest OT in this years draft at getting to the second level.  Has good stregth but struggles with leverage against bull rushers in pass protection. Capers has the tools to be a starting RT for the future cowboys.

Round 4. Joshua Moore CB Kansas State (5'11 185)

A very aggresive player, sometimes too aggresive and gets fooled by  play-action and double moves.  With that said Moore is good in run support and has great speed to turn and run with recievers. Not the greatest tackler technique wise but finds ways to slow down or stop ballcarriers.

Round 6. Freddie Barnes WR Bowling Green (6' 212)

Not sure if he'll drop this far but who knows.  Very reliable reciever with great hands and crisp route running. Questionable speed (4.6 40yd) but knows hows to play football.

Round 7.

Leigh Tiffin K Alabama

Not to enthused with our current kicking situation. As long as Buehler keeps racking up the touchbacks and can contribute in special teams coverage, i'm fine with having 2 kickers on the roster.

And my steal from this years class! drum roll please!................

Kyle Williams WR Arizona State (5'10 186)

A little hometown bias but still.  A little undersized but a very Productive player. 3 1/2 years of playing experience for ASU. Great reciever and can help our special teams(Led Pac 10 in PR avg junior year). Always seemed to make the big play when needed. Potential future slot reciever, can challege ogletree for spot. And I was shocked to see him as an undrafted prospect.

There's a lot of talk coming out of San Diego about TC being traded to the Chargers?

Don't know any details and was curious to see if anyone on BTB knows anything!

I would hate to see him go, he's become one of my favorite cowboys to watch (when he actually gets the chance!). So unless the Bolts are giving us Vincent Jackson or Darren Sproles, Doesnt make much sense to me.

Jerry Jones, C'mon man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
