2012 Angels Broadcast Schedule
Looks like we're finally rid of the crappy My13 video quality! According to this (and THIS RELEASE), FSW is picking up around 150 games this year, with the remaining 12 being broadcast on FOX and ESPN
"Every day I’m feeling better," Morales said through an interpreter. "My strength is getting better, I’m getting better push off my legs, and I’ve had no next-day soreness."
Great Profile on Dipoto
"It's more than a game to me," Dipoto said. "It's the constant in life. I have my family, I have my wife, I have my faith and I have baseball. That's kind of the standard."

Angels Bring Back Wolverine
Minor league deal with a Spring Training invite for the other Francisco Rodriguez. Can't hurt, right?
Broncos Hire Jimmy Lake as DBs Coach
Jimmy Lake comes to us after 4 years of coaching in the NFL. Seems like a great hire to me!

Offensive guard prospect Mario Yakoo de-committed from UCLA and is looking at Boise State. He's a teammate of current commit Chanceller James.
Chris Collins is a 2-star OLB, WR from Santa Monica, CA. Looks like he's coming to the Blue!
UPDATE: Apparently, Collins will grayshirt in 2012, according to Caves
Robert Prince Officially Named Offensive Coordinator

2012 RB recruit Jack Fields looks really good in the Texas State Playoffs
Peter Moylan, Free Agent
Aussie reliever Peter Moylan is being non-tendered by the Atlanta Braves. I know we got Hawkins to help solidify the 'pen, but he would be a fantastic addition for our 2012 team.
Plus, our own Aussie, Rich Thompson, endorses the idea
Rockies Close to Signing Hernandez, Trading Iannetta to Angels
Apparently, this thing is actually going down. Is Iannetta worth Chatwood?
UPDATE: The deal is official
Last Man Standing
I don't know if anybody else watches this show, but the latest episode has a BSU cameo!
Go to the 10:50 mark and check out what Tim Allen is watching on the TV... it's only a short glimpse, but see what it is!

Source: Cosumnes Oaks' Marcus Rios had his scholarship from Boise State pulled today, reportedly for shopping around.
Boise State WR Geraldo Boldewijn, S Cedric Febis and DT Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe won't play as eligibility is reviewed. Huge blow for BSU
Nate Potter a Candidate for Lowe's Senior CLASS Award
Boise State redshirt senior offensive tackle Nate Potter was one of 30 student-athletes from the Football Bowl Subdivision selected as a candidate for the 2011 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition.

Top 10 Teams' Fatal Flaws
Cool little write-up. Ours is predictable:
The issue: Wide receivers
The buzz: Senior QB Kellen Moore is extremely accurate and knows the offense inside and out. He leads all active FBS quarterbacks in career passing efficiency (166.74) and wins by a starter (38). Over the past two seasons, Moore has 74 touchdown passes and only nine interceptions. But he lost his top two receivers in Austin Pettis and Titus Young, who combined for 142 receptions for 2,166 yards and 19 TDs last season. Both now are in the NFL, and Tyler Shoemaker is the only returning wide receiver who caught more than 11 passes last season...

LB recruit Joel Skotte (6'2", 225 lbs, 3-stars) has cut his list down to three schools - Air Force, Oregon State and Boise State.
Here is his HIGHLIGHT VIDEO
IPT's Practice Photos - Day One
Lots of good stuff here, including a great photo of DJ Harper running the ball. Nice to see him back and going.
RB Malcolm Johnson rejoins Boise State as a walk-on. ... TE Hayden Plinke is the only grayshirt. ... OT Zach Waller off roster.

Nick Patti Tired Of The Size References
Good wrap-up on Patti's Elite 11 experience.
I have a really, really good feeling about this kid. He's got the drive to take his team to high places.
Boise State commit Nick Patti doesn't make the top 11 cut at the Elite 11 quarterback camp. Sounds like he was right around the cut line.
Nick Patti is next in line at Boise State
Great article on everybody's favorite 2012 recruit. Can't wait for him to be a part of this program!
"It's all I hear in the media," said Patti, the only quarterback among 11 Boise State pledges for 2012, "It's all I hear from anyone. But it's all fuel to my fire to go out and prove that you don't have to be 6-5 to be the best."

It's Official - 2011/2012 Pro Combat Uniforms
These are extremely similar (if not identical) to the unis we wore for the Las Vegas Bowl, but at least they are now officially on display.
No word on white uniforms, or whether we'll be wearing these all year long, as has been speculated.
Kenneth Walker Choosing Between Cal, BSU
Via ESPNU Recruiting's Twitter, the three-star ATH is making his choice between the hometown Cal Bears and winning with the Broncos.
Walker is listed at 6'0", 170 and runs a 4.4 40. Chances are, he'd be a WR.
Chris Santini Choosing Between BSU, Oregon State
Looks like we'll find out soon(ish) if we'll receive a commitment from probable-Nickel Chris Santini.
I love this guy's intensity. He looks like he'd be a PERFECT fit for our N spot.
Two SoCal LBs have Boise State In Their Final Cuts
Reshawn Hooker (LINK) and Aaron Porter (LINK) both have Boise State toward the top of their lists.

Porter is a 4-star according to Scout.com, 4-star according to Rivals.com, 4-star according to ESPN.com.
