Silver Screen and Roll Bench

So now that The Killer B's are no more, we need a nickname for our bench. Lakers Nation wrote an article and asked us fans to provide a nickname for our bench. Some of them are pretty good

There are other funny names too and please don't be offended, itsall in good fun: White Boy Domination, Stern's Problem, White Power (lol), Avalanche, World Peace Mob, Metta World Beasts, The KKK

Please add a nickname you think would be good in the comments below

Silver Screen and Roll Bynum out untill Late November

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aud1wHdUHlX06AIBRZtewNq8vLYF?slug=ap-lakersbegin

Is is really that surprising? Drew has always been pretty slow to recover after a surgeries. After he got injured in January of 2008 and an 8 week recovery period turned into missing the rest of the season and the playoffs. If this means that he will be 100% ready to go by mid season than i'm fine with, and i'm pretty sure the Lakers are fine with it. After all, a starting 5 of kobe, fisher, artest, odom, and gasol is nothing to complain about. And Theo Ratliff is better than Benga.

could the rgular season get here quick enough?

Silver Screen and Roll GREAT VIDEO...thought i'd share

Where Amazing Happens- 2010 nba playoff approaching-numb (via destination43)

As we approach the start of 2010 NBA finals, i would like to remind everyone of last year. This video does that better than i ever could. The dialogue is from an awesome movie called "Any Given Sunday" by the football coach portrayed brilliantly by Al Pacino. Although it feels weird to see Ron Artest in a Houston Rockets uniform, it was only a year ago when he was on a different team. Things have changed since then, and i hope all of you enjoy this video. LETS GO LAKERS!!!

Silver Screen and Roll Nervous for some reason

Ok...so i know this is kinda early. Its still only conference finals and its still only 2-0 in both series. But i for the past few days all i've been thinking about is a Lakers Celtics Finals. And i can't help but get flashbacks of 2008 and how utterly terrible i felt after we lost to the Celtics in the finals. In fact, in Shaqfor3's fanpost of best and worst laker moments, i put down the 2008 finals as my worst moment. I keep telling myelf that this isnt the same team, we have artest guarding perice instead of radmonovich...and we have have bynum (75%). But i just can focus on anything else except for Lakers Celtics. Not my school, not my job, NOTHING!!! All i know is that i wont be able handle another heartbreaking finals defeat to the celtics. I have looked at things in a lot of ways. The fact that we beat them in boston by 1. and the fact that beat us in LA by 1, but that we didn't have Kobe playing that game. I also realize that we are playing great right now (knock on wood), but weren't we also playing great in 2008 before the finals thumping. Let me just make it clear, i am absolutely not afraid of the celtics beating us, i'm afraid of the lakers beating  themselves. So far, the toughest team we have faced is the thunder. The Celtics are definitely not going to be as easy as these past 2 series. We were tested last year by the rockets and the nuggets. In 2008, i'm gonna say we werent tested at all until the finals (where being tested is not a good thing). and we were facing a Celtics team that was VERY motivated to get Garnett, Allen, and Pierce a ring. I don't know, i guess im just kinda venting. And maybe you guys can post more stats about how we are better than the celtics. Rondo>Fisher, Kobe>Allen, Pierce>Artest, Gasol>Garnett (right now), Perkins=75% Bynum.

PLEASE LAKERS...JUST GET 6 MORE WINS!!!

Silver Screen and Roll Andrew Bynum misses Wednesday's practice

Yahoo is reporting the Andrew Bynum missed pratice on Wednesday April 21 due to soreness in his achilles. The Same Achilles that kept him out the final 13 games of the regular season. However, Yahoo sports is also reporting that Bynum is still expected to start on Thursday when the series shifts to Oklahoma City. Maybe the lakers should think about resting him so he can get healthy. What do you think?
