Open Hate on Victorino Thread

There's a lot that we have to quibble with right now: the insane vote-padding allowed by the unlimited-vote policy (which we admittedly partook in), the fact that the Phillies already filled their quota of undeserving All-Stars with Ryan Howard, the fact that Manuel was already going to stick Victorino on the squad to replace the injured Beltran and now has license to use Jayson Werth instead... but we particularly need to let a few numbers and images sink into our skulls.

Pablo Sandoval: .326/.379/.560, 2.7 WAR

Shane Victorino: .308/.372/.464, 1.7 WAR

No Twenties

Looking at the Giants roster I noticed a completely irrelevant and highly interesting oddity.  There isn't one player on the 25-man with a jersey number in the 20s.  I bring it up because I'm pretty sure this is the first time that's happened.  It's certainly the first time in my lifetime, since we've always had Clark, or Bonds, or at the very least Holm and Bowker (#s 20 and 21) last year.  Besides them, there's 24 and 27 which are retired, 25 which is probably in unofficial retirement, and 26 which belongs to Mark Gardner.

But what about the others? 22, 23, 28 and 29 are unaccounted for.  Who in the organization is wearing those numbers?  I find it hard to believe that we have Sandoval walking around wearing a pitchers' number if there are four 20-spots he could take.  So, three questions for the McCoven:

1) Who in the minor leagues wears 22, 23, 28 or 29?  And are they on the same numbering system as the big club?  If the big club's number set extends into the minors, where does it stop - A-ball? AA?

2) When's the last time this happened (nobody with a #20-29 on roster)?  What about 10-19, or 1-9, or 30-39?

3) Shouldn't this have been a Fanshot?
