The Team
We have an interesting group of players on our team. We have guys that could shoot like there is no tomorrow, we have guys that are real lengthy and skinny, and we have guys that do....... you know what im tring to say here. I will tell you what each of the following players pros and cons are. In this post, I will be evaluating the following players: Andris Biedrins, Anthony Randolph, Brandan Wright, Ronny Turiaf, Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis, Anthony Morrow, Stephen Curry, Kelenna Azubuike, Corey Maggette,Marco Belinelli, C.J. Watson, and Jamareo Davidson. Now, lets begin with Andris Biedrins
via thesportshernia.typepad.com
He is one heck of a kid. He rebounds, he blocks shots, he, puts up nice numbers almost every night. I really like this kid. A potential top 5 center when he fully develops. He is real long too, that causes havoc for other players. Some things I notice with him on the court is that he gets pushed around by the bigger centers. Might want to bulk on a bit Andris. Other than that, he is a really good player.
Pros: Left Handed, Great athleticism for a big man, potential, basketball IQ, Great mobility in transition, plays stronger than MOST Centers, defending the pick and roll, scrappy rebounder, timing, terrific hands, sets good screens, active offensive rebounder
Cons: Skill level, free throw percentage, skinny for a center, when against bigger center gets in foul trouble quickly, footwork, assertive. Here is a video of Andris Biedrins, enjoy
Next, Anthony Randolph
via www4.pictures.gi.zimbio.com
Where do I start with Randolph. He has major potential to be a all star, heck maybe even a superstar! Anyways, Randolph showed flashes late in the year. He finished off the year with an a amazing total of 15 points and 10 rebounds a game. We all should have heard by now he grew one inch and gained 20 pounds of pure muscle. That's impressive! I can't wait to see Randolph as a full time starter. Now we move on to the pros and cons.
Pros: Mismatch Potential, Ball handling-Skills, Shot Blocking Skills, Incredibly quick, Wingspan, abiltiy to run the floor, defensive potential, Left Handed, Work ethic, Explosiveness, ability to create his own shot
Cons: Shot selection, Turnover prone, fundamentals, ability to finish through contact, gets backed down in the post, doesn't always play hard
here is a video of Randolph, enjoy again.
Next, is Brandan Wright
I don't know why Nellie isn't giving this kid that much play time. Brandan is a good player to me. He was playing real good until that dreadful injury against the Fakers. Now i am anticipating the return of Brandan. I know he is a good player, he just has to stay healthy. Maybe we could move Randolph to small foward so we could have Brandan at starting power foward. That would be cool. I just want to see Wright play some more. Is that too much to ask? Anyways here are the pros and cons for Brandan Wright.
Pros: Wingspan, Shot blocking ability, Athleticism, Work ethic, potential sky hook, huge upside, talent, winning mentality, coachable, unselfish, attitude, ability to finish at the rim, offensive skill
Cons: frail frame, a lack of foot speed on the perimeter, absolutely no physical intensity or toughness, sometimes has poor awareness
Here is a video of Brandan Wright, enjoy again.
Next, is Ronny Turiaf
via imgs.sfgate.com
This word sums up everything about Ronny. ENERGY. This guy has a whole lot of energy. I like that, infact it helps the team a lot. He pushes everyone to do better. He seems like a cool guy too. Plus he is a blocking machine! He lights the croud with a thunderous block every time. Watching Ronny play is very fun. He is a fan favorite here and I hope he never leaves the warriors. Now we move on to Turiafs pros and cons.
Pros: plays with passion, Amazing blocking ability, very active on loose balls and rebounds, knocks people around the paint, midrange jumpshot, freethrow percentage, coachable
Cons: Offensive game, routinely bites on pump fakes, almost always in foul trouble, Here is a video of Ronny Turiaf, enjoy once again. sorry guys, I couldn't find any highlights of Ronny as a warrior.
Next, is Stephen Jackson
I love how Stack Jack plays. He plays with heart and I really enjoy that. I liked how he finished off the season. He played really well. Until Nellie had to play rest-a-vet. With Randolph emerging I don't see Jack carrying the load anymore. He will be a complement now instead of the number 1 player. If he plays consistent, we could be a playoff contender no doubt. Jack is one of my favorite warriors so don't disappoint us! Now we move on too his pros and cons.
Pros: 3 point range, confidence, plays with passion, leadership, coachable, defensive awareness, clutch, great passer, runs the floor well, playmaker,
Cons: Shot selection, Turnover prone, average athleticism, average speed, bad temper sometimes, Here is a video of Stephen Jackson, enjoy.
Next, we move on to Monta Ellis
via layupdrill.com
We got a gem in Monta Ellis. I mean he is so quick and his ability to finish around the rim is amazing. I can't believe we got this guy in the 2nd round. I think he deserves to be in a all star game later on his career. He has so much talent, it is sky rocketing! This kid is a beast along side with Beans, Randolph, Morrow, etc. We are set for the future now. Now, we move on to Monta Eliis's pros and cons
Pros: Quick, Athletic, mid -range jumphot, smooth, dynamic first step, fearless, doesn't mind taking contact at the basket, finishes strong, excels in the in the triple threat position, strong crossover, very good at changing directions, being able to step back quickly and elevate for a pull up jumper, gets to the line an awful lot, no problem putting the ball on the floor and going all the way to the rim, excellent shooting skill, can score from anywhere on the floor, great elevation on his jump shot, stroke is smooth and effortless, good mechanics
Cons: no NBA position, fundamentals, very little point guard skills, might not have the instincts or mentality to even become sufficient in this area, passing skills are average to below average, basketball IQ, does not appear to be interested in making an assist, immediately jack up a shot before even looking in the direction of his teammates.
Here is a video of Monta Ellis, Enjoy.
Next, is Anthony Morrow
via pictopia.com
What a great shooter. I believe he led the league in 3 point percentage. That's a nice accomplishment for a undrafted rookie. At first, I was like who is that kid, I never seen him before, cut him off the team! But then, I just saw him play and he truly amazed me. Especially the game against the clippers. He set a NBA record for most points scored for a undrafted rookie (or was it player). After that performance I was like, Let this kid start! Anyways here are the pros and cons for Anthony Morrow.
Pros: Amazing shooter, consistent, gorgeous text-book release, hard worker, basketball IQ, coachable, great teammate, Encouraging, Energy player
Cons: Ball Handler, Not the most athletic, Defensive game. Here is a video of Anthony Morrow, enjoy. Courtesy from Xero. nice video!
Next, is Stephen Curry
via www2.pictures.gi.zimbio.com
This kid has potential to be a all star type of player. He can shoot, pass, and he has point guard skills. We desperately needed one and I think we got a perfect fit. I think him and Monta would complement each other nicely. I hope that he could play right away. I think he could make an immediate impact to this team. If he does get a chance to play, he might be the next R.O.Y. Now, here are Stephen Curry's pros and cons.
Pros: Craftiness, Excellent Skill level, off ball movement, scoring instincts, ability to create his own shot, change in gears, hesitation moves, aggressiveness, awareness, basketball IQ, leadership in clutch, winning mentality, unselfish
Cons: average athleticism, average wingspan, lateral quickness, shot selection, out of control sometimes, relies heavy on outside shot. Here is a video of Stephen Curry, enjoy.
Now,next is Kelenna Azubuike
via www.nba.com
Kelenna is a very good player. He can score, rebounds defends a lil bit also. He is very strong too. He does the stuff you need in order to win. If I had to choose either him or Kobe Bryant, I would choose Buike. Nah just kidding lol, Buike is underatted though. I think of him as a a sleeper. He sneaks and sometimes he puts up big numbers. Anyways here are the pros and cons for Kelenna Azubuike.
Pros: athletic marvel, chiseled and lean, smooth jump shot, superior slashing game, strong free-throw shooter, defensive skills
Cons:he'll have to become a much better shooter from outside, not an overpowering rebounder, ball-handling skills, focus and mental toughness. Here is a video of Kelenna Azubuike, enjoy. My advice, fast forward this video to 1:37.
Next, is Corey Maggette.
Corey can flat out score. He can put up at least 17 points per night. We need that kind of offensive fire power. Especially from the bench. If he wasn't injured, (like the whole warrior roster was) I think he should have won 6th man of the year. He also can rebound a little bit. We need all the rebounds we can get. Plus, this guy is really strong too. Anyways here are the pros and cons for Corey Maggette.
Pros: ability to attack the lane, gets to freethrow a lot, amazing scorer, defensive rebounding, chiseled and lean, athletic marvel, smooth jumpshot, scrappy rebounder.
Cons: Ball handling skills, not an overpowering rebounder, not looking to pass often, defensive game, 1 dimensional player. Here is a video of Corey Maggette, enjoy. Again, sorry guys I couldn't find any highlights of Corey as a Warrior.
Now, nest Marco Belinelli
The Italian sharpshooter. that should be is nickname. It fits him very well. He is tied for 2nd best shooter on this team. number 1 Anthony Morrow 2 Stephen Curry 2 Marco Belinelli. It would be fun to watch to see all three of them on the court. Anyways, if we were down by 2 points with 3 seconds left I would give the shot to Belinelli. I trust him. I think he can be a good player. Anyways here are the pros and cons for Marco Belinelli
Pros : decent size, athleticism, long arms, upper and lower body strength, runs the floor well, good overall speed and quickness, explosive leaper, outside shot, set shooter, quick release, amazing accuracy and range, moves well without the ball, shot selection, good footwork, lateral quickness, quick hand, great passer, clutch. Decent Ball Handling.
Cons: slashing ability, rely almost strictly on his perimeter shot instead, does not get to the free throw nearly as much, doesn't protect the ball well enough. Here is a video of Marco Belinelli, enjoy.
Next, is C.J. Watson
via i.cdn.turner.com
Yes I know this is an old picture. This is the only picture of him I could find where he isn't doing anything. Notice all the other pictures. They are either celebrating, standing, or posing for a pic. Anyways CJ is a very good back up. He provided good numbers off the bench. He is just what the warriors needed. He can complement any point guard in the league. He is in the top 5 for the best back up point guards in the league in my opinion. Anyways here are the pros and cons for C.J. Watson
Pros: quickness, strong free throw shooter, great passer, ability to create for others, defensive awareness, shot selection, unselfish, scrappy rebounder, quick hands, tremendous motor, moving the ball up the floor on the break, beautiful perimeter stroke, basketball IQ, Craftiness
Cons: assist numbers, average speed, average athleticism, limited upside, change of speed to penetrate the lane, must create for others as well, doesn't gamble for steals. Here is a video of C.J. Watson, enjoy. Again nice video Xero.
Now. last but not least, Jamareo Davidson
Jamareo came from a hard past. If you guys heard about it it is really sad. I think he deserves a roster spot on this team. Read this, only read the college part. Sad huh, anyways lets focus on what he can bring to this team. I think he is more of an energy player, sort of like Ronny Turiaf. We should give him a chance to play. I think he will be ok. Anyways here are the pros and cons for Jamareo Davidson.
Pros: size, athleticism, great mobility for a big man, good footwork, strong finisher, impressive vision in traffic, plays with passion, defensive awareness, rebounder, defensive potential, contesting shots from the weakside in the lane, aggressive
Cons: Lack of toughness, struggling a bit with perimeter defense, frail frame, post game, sometimes plays with lack of effort, positioning, shot selection, needs to add weight to maximize his NBA potential. I going to shake things up a bit. I'm going to put 2 videos of Jamareo Davidson. The reason why you ask? Because i can't find a video of him thats longer than 1 minute. No offense Jamareo. Here is the 1st one, and here is the 2nd one.
Well that it. this is my 2nd time I edited this post. I hope you guys enjoy it. Oh yeah, I will like to tahnk youtube for all these videos and google for these pics. Thank you guys for reading this and Leave Comments!!!!!!

Anthony Morrow Highlights
Check it out its really impressive
Good news for Laker Haters
I hope he leaves
Celticsblog wants to trade with us
do you guys like this deal??
Suns blog want to give us Jrich
Who would we give up in order to get him back???
Brandon Jennings Talks trash about the Knicks, Rubio, and Chris Duhon
He is being interviewed by Joe Budden
Rookie, get out there!
Now that the draft is in our rear view mirror, we can now focus on one player, Stephen Curry. I don't know if you guys heard but, Larry Riley said that Stephen Curry was arguably the 2nd best player in the draft, if not the 1st. Anyways, this following post will break down what Stephen Curry does best. Ex: Passing, shooting, basketball IQ, leadership, etc. Oh yeah, one more thing, enjoy the post
------- We all know Stephen Curry can shoot like crazy right. In this clip, i will show you how he scores at ease. I wonder what was the score in the first half in this game????? Crazy huh, Well this play is even more crazy. He is able to make a huge 3 point shot with the shot clock draining down. I liked it, the fans liked it, heck, even Lebron James was lovin that shot!!! check it out. Some more scoring from Curry, personally my favorite because he is playing in MSG lol. Its real fun clip to watch.
------ Some people don't realize how good Steph is at passing. He is really underrated. I think Bob Knight said that Curry is one of the best passers in the country. Sorry guys but I can't find any more clips on Stephen Curry's passing ability. Im sure that the previous one was good enough
------ Even though they might not came out as winners, I still think that this is a good performance from Curry. He hits clutch shots in here and some of these shots will drive you crazy!! Overall nice job from Curry
------ This has to be the best clip so far, Stephen just shows off what he can do here. I didn't know he had this type of skill!! It amazes me to see what else Curry can do. Check it out. Lol you weren't expecting that were you.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post, I put a lot of hard work into this. I also think that he can be one of the top point guards in the league if he focuses on what he needs to improve on. Ex: defense, shot selection, able to conrol himself, and more. I believe he will improve on all those things. Stephen Curry, get out there!!!!!
I like to thank Youtube and draftexpress for helpin me out. and go Stephen Curry!!!!

Ipod Touch or Xbox 360
I know I know this is not warrior related but I need your guys opinion on something. My mom said I could get either a Ipod touch or Xbox 360. I can't decide what I want!!! I know both are great but I need you guys to help me out.
Holiday vs Jennings
This has been a well talked about discussion here. In my recent mock draft I had the Warriors selecting Brandon Jennings. I'm not so sure about that anymore. I have been looking at Jrue Holiday and everyday I grow more interested in him. So everybody, kick back relax and enjoy this post. I put a lot of hardwork into this. We begin with Brandon Jennings.
Brandon Jennings.............. where do I start. I mean he is real athletic he is quick he has the ability to create plays for his teammates. Look how he just blows by his defenders so easily. Look from 1:29 to 1:33 . That was amazing!!
-- Another thing, his offensive creativity. Look how he just tricks the defenders and does a no look pass to his teammate. Look from :38 to :40.
-- Brandon Jennings has a killer crossover. This time watch the full clip. He has the ability to go anywhere he wants. I wouldn't be mad seeing him and Monta in the back court. A little undersized but its ok.
-- Again showing is explosiveness and creativity. Look at this play. Its ridiculous!!!!!! Only look from :34 to :38.
-- This is the final clip for Jennings. This clip shows the way he plays in a real game. Brandon Jennings is the white team just to let you guys know. Check out the full clip.
Now it's Jrue Holiday
Where shall I start with Holiday. He is unselfish, all around defensive player, he has a high basketball IQ, and he has the ability to finish around the basket.
-- Holiday can be lock down defender. Here are is a clip dedicated to his defense and effort. Watch the full clip.
-- I like his ability to finish. He could of easily dunked it here but I guess he didn't want to. Only look from 4:09 to 4:15. The next play was a dunk so look at it.
-- Look at this nasty crossover. I mean it is disgusting. The clip is really short so watch the full thing.
-- This clip shows how he can finish easy. He dunks on not 1 but 2 people. It is real good check it out.
-- This is the final clip for Jrue Holiday. This clip shows how he can shoot the ball, dunk it, pass, etc. Here it is
Well there it is. I hope you guys liked it. Right now I still can't choose who I want. Its a hard choice. So we will let the poll decide.
Oh yeah I would like to thank draftexpress.com for helping me out with this. I would also like to thank youtube for these videos.

My 2009 NBA Mock Draft
I have been seeing a lot of mock drafts saying that we will pick either Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday or other players. What I think we should do well take a look at my mock draft all the way from pick #1 to pick #30. Here it is
1 Clippers Blake Griffin
I hope he doesnt go to Los Angeles because he will be causing havoc to our little guys. Not to mention Los Angeles is in our division!! If they take Griffin they might trade Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman or Zack Randolph. They will get a superb athlete in Griffin
2 Memphis Ricky Rubio
Rubio would be a good fit in the Grizzlies. Even though there were reports saying he doesn't want to be a Grizzlie or a Thunder, I still think he is gone at Number 2. Rumors said they were going to trade Mike Conley if they draft Rubio so lets see what happens.
3 Thunder Hasheem Thabeet
The Thunder have something going on and I'm liking it. They have a real good point guard in Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant a future All Star, Jeff Green a real solid power forward. Now you add Thabeet in the mix. In a couple of years the Thunder will be a scary team.
4 Kings Jordan Hill
The Kings at this point are drafting the best player available. Really not much of a need here because the development of Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes. They might look at a point guard here. Maybe Jennings but he will be a reach at number 4 so they might trade down to get him.
5 Wizards James Harden
I was really thinking this one out. They could go with DeMar Derozan here but Harden gets the slight edge. The wizards seem like a half court team and Harden seems to fit in that kind of style.
6 Timberwolves DeMar DeRozan
The Timberwolves need a a playmaker at the guard position and they got one with DeRozan. Really, another hard pick between him and Brandon Jennings. DeRozan gets the edge here because the Timberwolves might want to give Randy Foye one more chance to prove himself.
7 Warriors Brandon Jennings
This is where Jennings gets picked. He is the perfect fit for our system. He is real quick and athletic and that fits our style of play. Him and Monta in the back court seems quick and deadly. I know we would be undersized but hey, that's what we do.
8 Knicks Stephen Curry
I really do think that Curry's destination is in New York. Scoring is what this kid does best. Not much of a defensive player. Thats perfect for Mike D'Antoni. He made Steve Nash into a 2 time MVP winner so lets see what he does with Curry.
9 Raptors Tyreke Evans
Jrue Holiday is a possibility but they already have Calderon. They really need a shooting guard. Ever since Vince Carter left no one could replace him. I think Evans will finally be his replacement.
10 Bucks Gerald Henderson
With Michael Redd always being injured they will need a replacement. Gerald Henderson will be that guy. His athleticism will attract the Bucks into picking him. Also he would be a nice fit for the Bucks.
11 Nets Earl Clark
Ever since the departure of Richard Jefferson, the Nets were in need of a small forward. I think that Earl Clark will be the answer. They have Clark compared to Lamar Odom or Shawn Marion. So this kid should be OK.
12 Bobcats James Johnson
I think this will be a good fit. they should try to move Johnson to small forward so they could have him and Okafor starting. They might decide to trade Gerald Wallace so look for that.
13 Pacers Jrue Holiday
If the Pacers are able to get Holiday at 13 they would be shocked. Jarret Jack will be a free agent so they might want to get a replacement . Holiday will be that guy. He can shoot the three and take it to the hole easily.
14 Suns Jonny Flynn
With Steve Nash hitting both age and Free Agency, I think Jonny Flynn would be a perfect fit. He is a true point guard. He scores he passes and does the other things a point guard needs to do.
15 Pistons Terrence Williams
Hamiliton is getting up there with his age I think they should start looking for the future. We all know that Iverson is not a piston no more so they should grab Terrence Williams. That would be a nice fit for the Pistons.
16 Bulls DeJaun Blair
This would be a real nice fit. The Bulls are in need of a low post scorer and a rugged rebounder. Thats what Blair does best. They compare Blair to Jason Maxiell and Paul Millsap.
17 76ers Ty Lawson
Andre Miller is hitting the free agency so the sixers will need a point guard. Lou Williams is good, but he isn't the true point guard they need. Lawson is a good fit for them. Look for VCU'S Eric Maynor also. He could be gone at this pick too.
18 Timberwolves (from Miami) B.J. Mullens
The Wolves don't really have a true center so I see Mullens going to them. He brings hard work to the Wolves and dedication. The Wolves are really addressing their needs in this draft. Way to go!!
19 Hawks Jeff Teague
Eric Maynor was a possible candidate but I give the edge to Teague. He can take it to the hole with ease and I like what he can do. He can also shoot the ball. They will need that because Mike Bibby won't be playing forever.
20 Jazz Tyler Hansbrough
Well some team has to take him!! The Jazz is the only team where Hansbrough fits. Carlos Boozer and Paul Millsap will both hit the free agency and I think that Hansbrough is the answer.
21 Hornets Austin Daye
I watched a few games where this kid showed some potential. He played for Gonzaga just to let you guys know. He has all the tools to become an all star player.
22 Mavericks Eric Maynor
Jason Kidd will be hitting free agency so they will need a point guard. Jason Terry is more of a shooting guard and J.J. Barea is only a good back up. Maynor would help them out if Kidd leaves.
23 Sacramento (from Houston) Patrick Mills
I really like Mills. I think he is a real good player. If he chose to play in a bigger school like North Carolina or Pittsburgh or others, he would be a lottery pick. This kid has the potential to be a real good player.
24 Trail Blazers Gani Lawal
I think the Blazers need a power forward. They only have Lamarcus Aldridge. He needs backup and I think Lawal would be perfect.
25 Thunder (from San Antonio) Wayne Ellington
This would completely give the Thunder the best starting lineup for the future. It would also scare the other teams too. I'm glad we are not in the same division as the Thunder. I got to admit as a Warrior Fan, I am getting jealous.
26 Bulls (from Denver) Chase Budinger
This would be a good fit. Ben Gordon might leave so Budinger does the same things Gordon can do. The only differance between the two is the height.
27 Grizzlies ( from Orlando) Josh Heytvelt
I think Heytvelt will be a good fit for the Grizzlies. He has size and athleticism. That should help him out in Memphis. Not to mention they have O.J. Mayo Rudy Gay and probably Ricky Rubio.
28 Timberwolves (from Boston) Darren Collison
This would be good for Minnesota. This should help out Randy Foye. Now he has a solid backup. Maybe in a couple of years Randy Foye will be the backup for Coliison. Overall awesome draft for the Timberwolves.
29 Lakers DaJuan Summers
With both Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza hitting the free agency I think Summers would fit well. He is really versatile. If he could develop a jumpshot, he could be a potential all star.
30 Cavaliers Marcus Thornton
I really like this kid. He can really help out in Cleveland. He averages 21 points per game. He is a shooting guard out of L.S.U. He is compared to Jason Terry sometimes so that would be a nice addition for LeBron. I hope Cleveland wins the finals also.
Well there it is. I put a lot of hard work into it. Let me know what you guys think.
Great Article From Bucky Brooks
Yea I was bored as hell. So I had to check whats goin on in the NFL. What I found was a article about the Oakland Raiders. It talks about how we could be successful and how this could be the breakout year for Jamarcus. I really enjoyed it. I know you guys will have a good time reading it as well!
Here is the link:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d81055ffa&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true
Solomon Wilcots showin us some love
1st its Ron Jaworski. 2nd is Solomon Wilcots. I am loving this. I was on NFL.com and I was bored as hell until I saw "Wilcots Chat." So I decided to check out what the fans questions where. This was The question: Who will be the biggest suprise team of this season?
At first he said The Houston Texans but then he said If this team plays defense then you gotta go with the Oakland Raiders. I wasn't shocked but that is cool to hear good reviews from Solomon Wilcots. I'm not sayin that he is the smartest guy in the world, but i'm pretty sure that he knows what he is talking about. I hope that more ESPN commentators would stop ripping us about how we are boneheads and we keep drafting busts. Watch when DHB makes Cris Carter and Trent Dilfer look like idiots. I never heard anything more disrespectful what Cris Carter said about DHB. He thinks he could say anything because he is a HOF wide receiver. I'll give him props for that. All i'm saying is, ESPN I think all you guys are gonna apologize to DHB because i really think he will be affective in this season. Except for Ron Jaworski and Solomon Wilcots, you guys are awesome.
GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We Actually Have A Chance!!!
Lately, this division was dominated by the San Diego Chargers, and the Denver Broncos. Right now the Broncos are in a hot mess right now and the bolts are seem to be struggling right now. L.T. doesn't seem has much as a homerun threat nowadays. Since everybody in this division is a bit struggling, ill tell you why the raiders have a shot at winning this division.
He really seems like he knows what he is doing. He made the right moves by releasing the attitude filled players. He got the friendly and motivational type
players. We are in the right track with this guy.
2nd reason Jamarcus Russell

I dont know why people are calling him a bust. This guy had 13 TDS and 8 INTS in his 1st season starter. Also he had 2,423 pass yards. Now that we got
weapons and a new-and-improved O-Line, he should have more time to do something with the ball.
3rd reason Backfield
With the combination of DMC and Fargas. This will really help Jamarcus. We were ranked 10 in rush yards per game So that will take a big burden off of
Russell shoulders. Not to mention we have Michael Bush and Lorenzo Neal those guys are good too. Haven't you guys noticed that wherever Lorenzo Neal goes he makes the running back into 1000 + rush in a season??? With the new O-Line and LoNeal look for either one of those 3 to have over 100 yards.
4th Reason Targets (tight ends receivers)
I think this will be the breakout year for Jamarcus. We got him some weapons now and some blockers too! Predictions: 19TDS 7INTS 3,000+ yards. I also think that we could have a 7-9 or 8-8 type of season. If we could play teamball for every game, hey, why not 10 wins! I am really happy and excited about our roster. Everyone on our roster wants to play for the raiders and they have no problems when the times get tough. Anyways here is the last reason
5th reason The Defense
Well we werent the worst and we werent the best either. But I watched a few games last season where the the raiders defense was outstanding. With Nnamdi Asomugha the best in the business, Thomas Howard , Kirk Morrison, and more. We added some players from the draft. I forgot what there names were but im sure they are ok. All i'm saying is if we play teamball we could be a godd football team.

sorry i messed up
check it out
DHB VS CRABTREE VS MACLIN
Once the season starts, it is official. Thats when the comparisons start. To me, the player that will have the better rookie season will probably be Jeremy Maclin because he goes to a team that has experience and there offense has a lot of playmakers. In second place come DHB. I'm not saying that because i'm a raider fan, it's because he is more of a better fit at Oakland than Crabtree is at SF. We can use DHB for trick plays and other stuff. That's what gives him the edge over Crabtree. In the long run, the best reciever overall is......................... right now it is Michael Crabtree. The only reason why he is the best is because he has more hands. If DHB and Maclin had more hands, no question the order would look like this:
1DHB
2 Maclin
3 Crabtree
here are the pros and cons for each player.
Michael Crabtree
Pros: Has the desired measurements for a franchise receiver. Is extremely dangerous after the catch; routinely turns 8-yard receptions into 30 yard gains. Has huge hands and excellent coordination for someone his size allowing him to haul in errant throws. Provides mismatch problems against diminutive cornerbacks as he can out-jump and properly angle his body to bring in the pass on fade and jump ball routes.
Cons: Is not a flat-out burner although he does have adequate speed so he can be caught from behind and dragged down. Texas Tech doesn't employ a full route tree so he hasn't run all the routes an NFL team will require so he'll need to learn the nuances of his position throughout training camp.
Darrius Heyward-Bey
Pros: Exceptional straight-line speed. Opponents must account for his deep speed on every play. Too fast off the snap for most defenders to challenge him in press coverage. Long, lean athlete with long arms and strong hands. Has the agility to make plays in space. Reads the field and can follow his blocks to generate yards after the catch. Can snatch the ball out of the air. Learning to better use his height as an advantage. Good leaping ability and has become more consistent in timing his leaps.
Cons: Bit of a one trick pony at this time. Might be the draft's most dangerous vertical threat, but offers little else. Long-legged and struggles to generate consistent separation out of his cuts. Not as consistently effective on jump balls as he should be, considering his natural size advantage. Too often double-clutches the ball. Questionable toughness running across the middle. Lacks strength and consistent effort as a downfield blocker.
Jeremy Maclin
Pros: Maclin's greatest assest is his speed and he has F-18 Hornet type afterburners. Runs good routes and is allusive when in the open field. Has a good sense when to come back to the ball on broken plays. Good hands
Cons: He looks a little small to be an NFL wide receiver. May get bumped off his routes by bigger players. Has had some injuries in college but able to bounce back from them.
So, may the best man (hopefully DHB) win(again, hopefully DHB)
