They have us getting Bradley Beal?!

Elton Brand Anyone?

The Sixers have thought about using their amnesty clause on Elton Brand. How much do you think it would take to bring him in here?

Warriors' Front Office: Draft Options

It looks like Jenkins will be our backup point guard next season. And there's a few surprising names the Warriors are interested in for next season.

Just my version of the Warriors' Quest to Success...I honestly feel with this team healthy we can be the new Memphis Grizzlies (not saying in play style but just the way of developing our players).

Draft Combine?

Can anyone tell me when is the draft combine? I am really curious to see how guys like Jared Sullinger and Bradley Beal measure up.

Analyzing five players the Warriors could draft at No. 7

38

TERRENCE JONES, Kentucky Position: Small forward/Power forward Age: 20 Size: 6-foot-9, 249 pounds Stats: 12.3 points, 50 percent shooting, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists Strengths: The former high school point guard is highly skilled. He can handle, penetrate and pass like a small forward. But in his sophomore season at Kentucky he showed he can produce inside. Has nice footwork, is calm under pressure and has the physicality to finish strong. He has the size, length, athleticism and toughness to be a force on defense. Weaknesses: He's a bit of a tweener because he's talented enough and flawed enough at both positions to not really know where he belongs. His jumper needs a lot of work and he's been known to disappear. Can get out of control at times. Not as explosive as you'd like. Fit with Warriors: He's probably the best fit for small forward other than his college teammate, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. He's has the athleticism, the body and some of the skills they want. But the transition to small forward in the NBA (from power forward at Kentucky) is going to come with its bumps and bruises. But he comes with some risk, thanks to his questionable motor and lack of definitive position. He would be much more ideal if the Warriors could nab him later in the draft. If he's available between 17 and 25, which some mock drafts believe he will be, Golden State may be able to use their remaining three picks to get high enough to nab him. That would be a steal and much more value than taking him at No. 7.

Y! Sports/DraftExpress 2012 NBA Mock Draft No. 1

7. Golden State Warriors Harrison Barnes: SF, 19, 6-8, 223, North Carolina, Soph. The Warriors took a major leap of faith in trading fan favorite Monta Ellis for injured center Andrew Bogut and handing the full-time ball-handling responsibilities to Stephen Curry, who lost most of the season to an ankle injury. If everyone stays healthy, they have a very intriguing roster on paper, but still could use some additional scoring punch on the wing. Harrison Barnes duplicates many of the things Klay Thompson and Dorell Wright do. He's also not a particularly gifted shot creator, but he has great size and scoring instincts and still has plenty of room to improve at age 19.

The Draft Stock of Perry Jones III

Compares him to being a more athletic Lamar Odom. Says he has the potential to be a better player than Anthony Davis. And he's a quote that most might like: "He was impressive with his athletic abilities," one GM said. "It's obvious he will have more success as a wing player than an inside player. He had a good workout."

Perry Jones is killing it in this workout. Playing as a 3. Speed, skill, explosiveness, soft jumper. Energy. Another Paul George? - Chad Ford

If we keep our pick...I say we risk it.

Jeff Green Anyone?!

25

We've been talking about needing that veteran slashing small forward and I think Jeff Green may be someone that many have forgotten about since his operation. I definitely think this team should take a look at him since nobody owns his rights.

Can you imagine Jason Kidd as Warriors' back-up PG next season? You can bank on GSW exploring such a possibility, no doubt. Kidd, a free agent come July 1, is an ideal fit in many ways. Experienced. Can Start. Local hero. A true PG who can mentor Curry. It's probably only possible if Mavs land Deron. Kidd, who said he's willing to backup Deron, would then have to choose to sign with GSW. But GM Bob Myers did talk about Curry reaching another level. It makes sense he'd look into the future HOFer..

Great mentor for Curry

GM Bob Myers said if Warriors land a Top 7, giving them 4 total picks, they're likely to make a draft-day trade. "Four picks are a lot of picks. We added three rookies last year. I don't think its ideal to have four more, making it 7 in two years. Four is probably a number we would like to reduce or consolidate. ... If we end up with four, we're probably in the market to move up, move out or trade."

Will we end up with MKG?

Quincy Miller to enter Draft

"His body is nowhere near mature to impact the NBA game yet," the NBA scout said. "He's a talented kid with good size and skills. He's a streaky shooter who can put it on the floor and get his own shot. He has range out to the college 3-pointer, but struggled with his shot all season. I'd take him with that late 1st round pick.

Hey, coming over from GSOM again. I thought I'd make a mix showcasing what I think is the most underrated Big 3 in the league today. I think these 3 have what it takes to win it all this year.

Coming over from GSOM again. Made an Isaiah Thomas mix I hope you guys like.

Oden’s career could have been saved with better medical attention

"Greg needed someone to watch over each rep and exercise carefully to make sure he was doing each exercise correctly until all of the muscles being targeted were able to contract on autopilot. Surgery causes damage to nerves which take time to regenerate, affecting the way a person performs an exercise. This is nearly impossible in a team setting and requires private one-on-one therapy with a therapist who understands how each segment of the body is supposed to move." Do you think this could've been said about Steph's ankle during the lockout?!

Coming over from GSOM. Cousins is one of my favorite big men in the league and I know a year or two from now if he continues to make progress like he has he will be a Top 5 Center in the league possibly even Top 3.
