Royals Review Royals Lead All Teams in Runs Scored in ST

Butler_20hr_202

via royals.mlblogs.com

Excluding the argument on wether spring training stats mean anything at all, I noticed today that the Royals have scored more runs than any other team in the MLB.  Meaningful or not, this is the first time in a long time that I've been able to look at the Royals roster and think to myself  "Wow there really isn't much of a hole anywhere." Even the roles in the lineup that are usually reserved for OBP are being filled with players that have some legitimate power (Dejesus, Aviles, even Crisp).  Maybe it's just March, or maybe I'm unintelligent, but I'm fairly certain that this year we could have the best offense us fans have seen in a long time, even comparing to 2003.

Any thoughts or comments are very welcome.
