Golden State Of Mind GSOM iPhone App

I don't know whether this has been discussed here before so i apologize in advance for posting this if it has been discussed.  I also apologize for the run-off sentences that are sure to follow....

Anywho, i am a big Apple nerd and i've been working on developing applications. I know this site has a friendly mobile version while accessing from your mobile device, but i know many people like myself prefer using an app rather than accessing through safari. I have some idea's for the app such as the ability to browse even without an account, and the ability to comment from withen the app. I know personally if i had an app i would check up on this website and participate more often than i already do.

If you have any ideas for the app or think it is a terrible idea, let me know. I don't know if im even allowed to create an app for this website because im not a mod or what not, but i have noticed many 3rd parties have created facebook and twitter applications so i think legally i would be good. Also my devoloping skills are sub-par at the moment so if anyone else want's to go ahead and create this app feel free! just make sure its FREE to download, because no one likes paying=)

ps. a droid app would be cool too because i know not everyone has an iphone, even though it seems like it. lol

Anthony Randolph will make his regular season debut for the NY Knicks tonight at 5PM (Pacific Time) on national TV. Mike Dantoni has said that he plans to use Ant as much as possible tonight to see what he can do. If you don't like Ant then don't leave hate comments here. This is not the place. Have a good one goldenstateofminder's

Posting and Toasting OT: Hotels Near MSG

Im a long time golden state warriors fan and a huge Anthony Randolph fan. I became friends with a kid who happened to be Ant's roommate and cousin when he was playing here in Oakland, and now im planning a trip to New York to kick it with my friend and watch a few Knicks games. (by the way you guys got a steal, AR4 and Buiki are gonna be stars). When im in NY i was hoping to stay in a decent priced hotel near MSG and maybe a few tips on getting around the city. But i can't wait to watch Ant and Amare play together, they are gonna be a legit duo. Also AR is a cool kid and a hard worker. And he is pumped to be playing for you guys

Or is he a real person? Does anyone know? Either way this kid is for real. His power to opposite field is like something i have never seen before. His plate discipline is impecable.

From a fielding standpoint he has one of the strongest and most accurate arms in the league. I find myself pinching myself throughout the games to make sure im not dreaming.

How has this kid not been getting the attention the other young players like Strasburg and Heyward have been getting?

Are we gonna see him tear off his jersey and fly out of the stadium with a cape blowing in the air? Because i would not be surprised.

When Michael Jackson dangled his baby Blanket over the top floor railing of his hotel, he did not do it because he was crazy. He did it because Taylor Mays was standing below. Taylor Mays catches everything.

"Golden State hopes to pair Curry in the backcourt with Monta Ellis again. Ellis and center Ronny Turiaf are expected back after missing Wednesday's game due to flu-like symptoms."

However just in 2 hours ago via MSteinmetz twitter, Monta will not play, and will not travel on the 4 game road trip as well.

Golden State Of Mind Credit to Don Nelson

Yes, this is a real post. I am going to give some credit to Don Nelson. Even with all the questionable decisions he has made, he does deserve some credit.

If you guys want to remember back to the week following the NBA draft and all the trade rumors swirling around Amari and Steph Curry, there was one man that was sure to not let Steph leave. That man was Don Nelson.  At the time many people on this forum were willing to give up Steph Curry for Amari Stoudamire because Steph Curry was quote "a scorer and nothing else".  Well if it was up to most of us, (including me) the Suns would not be worrying about what they were gonna do when Steve Nash would finally come back to reality and become a less affective player because of his age.  Instead they would be excited to have a young point guard with maybe even more of an upside than Nash.  Imagine if Steph was playing for the Suns, and learning from one of the great point guards in a long time.  They would not lose a step when Nash retired and they would be set for another 10-15 years at the point guard position, which is almost as tough as a position to fill as center.

If we were to look look at the other side of this trade (Amari On Golden State) we might not be as pleased as we thought we were going to be.  Yes Amari is a spectacular player in the pinnacle of his career.  But with all the young talent such as Anthony Randolph and Brandon Wright we are almost better off with the core we have now.  If either of those players can develop into the player they have shown glimpses they can be then we will be set with a big man and finally a post scorer and defensive stopper for many years to come.

Another point to add is if we had Amari, come the trade deadline that recently passed there may have been a greater chance that AR4 or Brandon Wright got shipped off to somewhere in a package that would have included Corey Maggette in order to free up some salary cap space.  When it comes down to it, thanks to Don Nelson and im sure a few other Warrior executives Stephen Curry is still a warrior and we still have AR4, (even thought the Don refuses to give him proper minutes to develop) and we still have Brandon Wright.  Even though our team is completely depleted, at least we can talk about all our young talent, and if they do happen to develop we may be the next OKC Thunder in the years to come.

SO umm, i guess, Thanks Don Nelson?
