No Extension for Gay yet
Rudy Gay may not get an extension, so that means you can throw his name into the 2010 hat. As many have noted, a dynamic, defensive minded 3 who can stick it from outside and be a playmaker in clutch situations would be a great addition to this Kings team.

Tom Thibodeau is not a coaching option. He has no experience. He has no championship rings. He may or may not be able to dunk the ball. He's starting to go bald (a little), and is therefore not sexy enough. Clearly, this paragraph is all crap - we know bald is beautiful baby, Boston defense sure as hell won a championship ring, and he has had lots of experience. Just not the head coaching kind.
While I originally intended to do an exhaustive performance study, I'm not really that kind of guy. And truthfully, I can't really say how much of a defensive addition he's been to most teams, because he's mostly coached with JVG, and I'm not sure how to seperate his performance from Jeffs. Instead, I choose to stare dreamingly at the Google image search of "Tom Thibodeau," "Coach Thib," "Thibodeau coaching" and "Coach Thib upskirt." While these searches revealed various characteristics of the man, the myth, the not-yet-a-legend, it also made one thing exceedingly clear. It showed the truth behind the fire that supports the defense his teams are known for.

Of course, he also committed a team-high 4 turnovers and three of his four misses were blocked. So to the people of Sacramento, I say: Welcome to the Nocioni Roller Coaster. Fasten your seatbelts and please keep your hands inside the car.
There is a similar story about such a thing happening to Ronnie Price as a rookie in Sacramento. But after the season was over and Price had paid for various things, Mike Bibby reportedly gave Price a wad of cash that more than made up for it.

Sacramento, CA (AP) - The Sacramento Kings locker room is currently in an uproar over the All-Star selections. The 24 players for the East and West teams were recently selected by a coaches vote and released earlier today by the NBA Front Office. A total of 17 teams are represented. The opinions of the Kings players vary, but it is the general consensus that several Kings players were unfairly denied a roster spot.

Marion trade Rumor untrue
I don't have insider, so I'm not sure what it says - whether it's the Cavs trade, the Kings trade, or just trading Marion at all.
If it's about the Kings, I'm betting it references something in Bee. Still, considering Millers and Marions fates seemed linked only a few days ago, I thought I might post this if someone feels like being more revealing.
Linas Kleiza NOT given extension
This is confusing - why not trade for Artest because Kleiza was worth too much only to follow that with not extending him? The Nuggets are milking this be-cheap thing a bit too much, and if they're not very careful they'll be in the Kings situation, except their star player will be much more unhappy and much more paid.
If I was a Nuggets fan, I would be livid. Hell, I like the Rockets deal better and I'm still angry. wtf.

I kid, I kid. Clearly CP3 is the better option instead of Melo. And Shreef has no knees.
No, seriously. So perusing through the site today, I came across this piece of awesomeness Which we shall never forget. It's a 500 kb picture, but oh so worth it. (middle finger heavy, you know the one... nsfw for the uninitiated).
It's fantastic. Too awesome for words to describe. And I thought to myself: "Self, if only they sold a poster of this for you to purchase."
Sadly, there is none. However, we are on the internet! (Great success, yes!)
A quick ask.com search (google was denying me searching priveliges... maybe something to do with my excessive combinations of the words Jessica + Alba in my three hundred and thirty two prior searches) and I came acros FullSizePosters.com they take your picture and they print it for you - poster size! And to add to the awesomeness, they're giving a special where the 24"x36" posters are 5 bucks! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, God couldn't have given me more of a direct sign had he walked into my room and told me that this must be done (then promptly banish me to Hell for the previously mentioned google searches.. damn Google, storing your search terms so that God and the Government can look them over).
Anyway - I had a quick question - anyone have a higher res version of the picture prior to me sending this one in? Or better yet the original picture, that I can pay to have High-Res scanned (Fed-Ex Kinkos does it for like ten bucks).
Once I get image quality issues solved, I'm going to have this thing printed and sent to me, and I'll post photos up of how it looks and recommend whether it's worth your investment.
Now tell me, isn't this awesome?

The Deadspin guys throwing their unique form of commentary at the subject. It's a summary of everything we've all already seen, and it's not really a very worthwhile read (their jokes left something to be desired). However, it is another national voice mocking Ron Artest. With enough of these, hopefully he'll learn to shutup.
