Editor's Note: Interesting Caron Q&A from the official site. I thought he cut out soda already when he stopped drinking Mountain Dew, but apparently not. -Mike

"I cut out soda this summer. I stopped drinking soda April 8th, I have been away from soda basically the whole summer."

Crittenton's working with Gil and Cassell

"Sam has really been working with me on my pull-up game. I’ve been working on my one-dribble pull up. He has me working on my shooting consistency and ball-handling drills. With Gil, it is a lot of competition. We play pick-up games a lot and there is a lot of trash talking back and forth. At the end of the day it is only going to make me better. He’s been pushing me a lot in those games and its really helping me out."

FYI. Some non draft news. Sorry to wait but Friday was busy and I thought Monday would be a good day to get this out there. We got to see Andray Blatche do an individual workout following Tyreke Evans’ workout with the team. To say the least VERY IMPRESSIVE.

The Washington Wizards Blog is reporting that Sam Cassell and Randy Wittman are officially official as assistants on Flip Saunders' staff.

Get ready for more Gollum jokes people.

Two of the names for tomorrow’s workout. Dionte Christmas from Temple and Wesley Matthews from Marquette.

I didn't realize he was second on the team in total rebounds, assists and blocked shots.

More coverage of Saunders. A lot of what you will see and hear in the papers and on CSN, but if you can't get enough info on Flip its worth checking out.

The Wizards offical blog throwing out some videos from today.

My favorite Highlights include the Taser adding a three-point shot, nick wanting to get stronger and a lot of positive talk from Gil, Caron and Dray and Mike James on next year.

Coach Tap is now quoting Sun Tzu's the art of war at about 7:40 into his presser today.

"If you know yourself and you know your enemy you fear no battle."
"If you know not yourself and not your enemy you will succumb every time"

Not sure if its in part one or two but the funniest part to me is when she said he's not a banger like she was. Also find it funny that shes always on him to workout, pretty funny.

Gilbert tries to eat 6 saltines in 60 seconds. Pretty funny. Anyone ever try this?

Also they have a vid of super bowl predictions, I like CB always cheering on the skins.

Well looks like more minutes for JaVale.

[UPDATE]: Wizards Insider has more info.

This quote seems encouraging, no?:
Stevenson added that his back problems will likely remain for the rest of his career. [facetious]

So we arent playing well, at least this guys awesome and gives me my money's worth whenever i go to games. I cant wait til he actually learns how to play ball down low, but I liked that he got into it a little with Gasol yesterday and tried to body him a little (he just needs to add some weight so he can body guys down low). Anyway these photos are sick.

Bullets Forever Etan Thomas torn MCL

Looks like Pech and JaVale might get some more minutes.  it's time to get buckets son!!

Tests performed today on Washington Wizards Center Etan Thomas revealed that Thomas has a torn MCL in his left knee. The injury occurred in the first quarter of last night’s game versus Milwaukee. Thomas will be listed as out indefinitely, and will be reevaluated in two weeks.

Bullets Forever Caron Butler: "A Crab dribble is when you, Travel"

Reporter:"What is a crab dribble?"

Caron Butler: "A Crab dribble is when you, Travel"

Hilarious.  The audio is about 3 minutes in.  Tough Juice starts laughing right after he says it. They also talk about Gil returning. I guess he played two on two again today.  The AP said in their article that he played two on two for the first time on Saturday.  So thats a good sign.

Bullets Forever Stevenson out as starter

Per the official Wizards blog:

As discussed on here, DeShawn Stevenson has been struggling and today he went up to Coach Tapscott and told coach that he would be willing to move to the bench to try and switch things up and get his “swag” back.

In his place Tapscott and the staff are discussing either Dominic McGuire or Nick Young as the possibilities to start but that is still up for discussion. I will post the audio of the presser shortly.

Tuesday will end Stevenson streak of consecutive regular season games started (275), which trails only Detroit’s Tayshaun Prince.
