on the run game by ledbetter.  especially the note about the 3-4 and 4-3 defenses for the falcons.  made me feel a little bit better about turner and our run game. Also do any of you guys think the stecker signing really means anything or that he will amount to anything in our offense im kind of curious he was always a pretty decent runningback.

I have a question.  I havent been able to see any of the games this year seeing as i live in California, but I am curious.  What has Anderson done, he's always been solid against the run, but bad rushing the passer, and from what ive read on this blog Bierman has been doing pretty well for himself.  I am curious since we lost Jerry, would moving Anderson inside make sense or is he not big enough?  that would then open up things for Chauncey as well who we did resign and i havent heard too much about. Any Thoughts?

has also been released by the broncos today.  Just a thought but he's always been decent enough to start. Would the falcons be willing to give him a shot? its not like he'd cost a whole lot either.  Never know maybe he'll revive his career in Atlanta. I'd say its worth a shot for a low cost/ possible high reward kind of deal.  What do you think? What do you think it would take to get him?

theres an article in on ajc.com saying that albert haynesworth and the titans are having trouble negotiating.  He's been quoted as saying he would like to stay near his home in Knoxville and taht would make atlanta and carolina possibilities.  of course this is all speculation, but could you imagine if we landed bi al?!

hes bound to go to another team and get a much bigger role eventually when his contract is up.  that brings about the question should we trade him and get some value for him, instead of none.  hes worth at least a 2nd and 3rd rounder in my opinion.  im not sure how many years he has left on his contract but there cant be many.  it crossed my mind and i just wanted to hear what you guys had to say. 

were given to johnathan babineaux and michael jenkins.  babineauxs i believe was 5 years and jenkins i believe was 4 years.  but this jsut goes to show that the staff is sticking to the plan about drafting and keeping a good group of core players.  just goes to show that we have a great plan in place and im excieted

has anyone else noticed that he is slowly emerging alongside roddy white as a very good number two receiver.  he always had the whole package but finally seems like hes starting to put it together.  it probably has something to do with matt ryan, but i mean it feels great to be a fan and finally see our high draft picks starting to put it together. jamaal anderson also looks like he remembers how to play now as well. any thoughts?

as you know the eagles play the dirty birds this week and i was just wondering what you guys think about the up coming game. i for one think it will be a great game. i also would like to ask what you think the impact of andrews not playing will be because hes one of the more dominant guards in the game. i was wondering if you think it will free john abraham up a little and maybe weaken your ground game? all these hopes by me but i just wanted to get some input from real eagles fans.

anyone know how our other rookies faired against the lions, i was just very curious. and i would like to know how dominque foxworth was, and wooh finally gettin a little respect we are 24th in espns power rankings.  any thoughts on the upcoming game against tampa, think we got it in us to pull it off and do you think that turner can pull off another historical game id like to see roddy white get into a little more too. go falcons!!!

quick question whats the problem with the falcons trading for lito sheppard or picking up ty law? i mean we are thin at db it would give us an instant starter and it definatly boost an already decent defense.  it would also give the youngers dbs a mentor to learn from.  I dont see a lot reasons not to make the trade, or just sign law.  i think it would bring a lot of good to the falcons, what do you think?

who else has heard about ryan at training camp. word round the campfire is he took the reins of the first team offense wednesday and tore it up. hitting roddy white a number of times for touchdowns. and it appears the bond between ryan and white is growing and could be something special.  any comments think ryan could be the next manning type situation?

another question why do people think we will be soooo bad this year? petrino was a complete idiot, i have much more faith in smitty and this years team.  maybe not superbowl bound but possibly fighting for a wildcard spot.  stranger things have happened over the years.

I'm sure everyone knows that in the nfc south the team that was last moves to first the next year.  I was wondering if anyone here thinks the falcons can keep taht trend going and finally get back into the playoffs.  I personally think the falcons can do it with as bad of a record as 9-7.  I think they can pull it off.  What do you think? which players in your mind will have to step up big to pull it off?
