Bullets for Pistons
Why not tap into a team that won a championship from our cast aways just a few years ago. The trade: Butler and Jamison for Prince and Hamilton.
This would be more of a remaking than a total blow up and would allow us to probably compete for the 7th or 8th seed if the team gelled. Obvious advantages: better D, and both prince and hamilton could get us to start running flips offense. I think Gil would play better off both of them then he does off caron and twan. And Prince's contract also is over after this year. I know Prince and Rip are injured but I am under the assumption that they are getting better soon.
I think the Pistons may do it because they are playing decent without Prince and Rip and probably would not mind adding Jamison's scoring and taking a bet on the possibility of Caron becoming tough juice again.
In all honesty, Id prefer a trade that gets rid of as much cap space as possible for next year, makes us really bad this year and gives us a shot at Wall, but I dont think its feasible. I figure getting two guys in here that have won with Flip is the next best option.
