I've been a Niners fan since 1988, which is the earliest I can remember. I also was lucky enough to be born in a 49ers Super Bowl Win Year (1984). I've lived in Seattle, Denver, Flagstaff, and now...ugh...Phoenix! I was born in Santa Clara and grew up rooting for the 49ers, even though my dad was a Bears fan. My favorite 49ers defensive player is Merton Hanks. My favorite 49ers offensive player is Steve Young. Before Warner showed up he had the highest single season quarterback rating for a season (112.8).
