I am an Arizona Diamondbacks fanatic. The 2001 World Series brought them to my attention, and I kinda follwed them for the next four years, but it really wasn't until 2005 that I started following them like I do now

Arizona Sports begins simulcasting on 98.7 FM

Today, KTAR began airing their broadcasting on 98.7 FM, as well as their standard 620 AM. This, of course, means you'll be able to hear Dbacks on FM as well as AM as we have been for so long. Thought this might be of interest to some!

Bloomberg Values Dbacks at $600 million

Bloomberg has released their rankings of teams by value, and the Dbacks have come in at 24th and $600 million.

Fang Food: Epilogue

Well. That's it. The Dbacks' season is over. It could have been better, but it could have been worse, too. Join us as we say good bye to this season of Fang Food

Diamondbacks 2, Padres 1: A Pitcher's Duel

Tonight, I gave the Dbacks an ultimatum: Don't make me regret not watching the premier of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. live. In the end, they didn't.

Dbacks 2, Padres 1

Both pitching staffs were locked in tonight, and we were treated to quite the pitcher's duel. On the not-so-great side of the pitcher's duel, the offense was quiet tonight. Kyle Blanks was the...

Fang Food: Jalapeno Poppers

So the other day, I was going back through the Fang Food archives, and I realized something. We've only done one dish that could be called an appetizer. That fact, plus a reminder of a classic game-time food, gave me this issue of Fang Food.

Dbacks 3, Dodgers 9: At least dinner was tasty?

There was serious discussion at Snakepit Fest on whether or not I should just do an essay about who is better: Isaac Asimov or Sir Arthur C. Clarke. But dang it! If I sat through it, you have to read about it!

Dbacks 3, Dodgers 5: Another opposing walk off

Tonight we got another taste of what other teams have felt throughout the season as the Dodgers walked off against us in extras.

Dbacks 3, Dodger 5

Another walk off at the hands of our opponents

Fang Food: Pizza

When I think of party food, I think pizza, and so, on this edition of Fang Food, I will present my recipe for that classic dish!

Dbacks 4, Blue Jays 10: Angry Birds

The way the Blue Jays were launching baseballs all over the field, you would have thought that they were playing a game of Angry Birds. And we were the pigs.

Dbacks 4, Blue Jays 10

Things didn't start out so well for the Diamondbacks tonight, and really didn't get any better after that. Wade Miley started, but was only able to go 1 2/3 inning after giving up 5 runs on 8 hits...

Fang Food: Sonoran Hot Dogs

At Chase Field, they have a hot dog called the Sonoran hot dog. It's a bacon-wrapped hot dog, topped with ranch-style beans and Pico de Gallo. Basically, it's deliciousness incarnate, in my opinion, and I set out to recreate it.

Fang Food: Well Done Hamburgers

Hamburgers are one of the quintessential BBQ foods. But a lot of people want them well done. How do you do that? Here you go!

Fang Food: Chicken Spiedies

What's a spiedie you ask? Pure amazing deliciousness.

Dbacks 6, Rockies 1: A (not quite) perfect 10

Suspense is overrated, so I'm just going to cut to the chase. Patrick Corbin got his long awaited tenth win on the season, and did so in commanding fashion. The offense wasn't too bad either...

Fang Food: Dessert

So far on Fang Food, we've only focused on meals, side dishes, and drinks. Today, we're boldly going to a new frontier: Dessert!

Fang Food: Technical Difficulties edition

So Philip took a vacation back in time to the Stone Age where they don't have internet, and I didn't get his messages left in history until today. So we're a little late this week. We're sorry/

Fang Food: Pretzels

What did I learn this weekend? Well, I learned I'm terrible at rolling out pretzels. Go figure

Dbacks 6, Padres 5: Batters Buoy Battered Corbin

Today, Corbin's streak of not allowing more than two runs in a game came to an end, but the offense (some of it his own) bailed him out, and got him his 8th win on the season.

Fang Food: Taco Special!

So the Dbacks scored more than six runs, huh? Well, that means that today between 4 and 6 PM, Taco Bell will be giving away three free tacos with the purchase of a large drink. Let's do that one better, shall we?

Fang Food: hamburger buns and creamy potato salad.

First off, Happy Mother's day to all the Mother's out there. I couldn't really think of anything that would make for a good Mother's Day themed post, so I'm doing hamburger buns and creamy potato salad.

Dbacks 4, Rockies 2: First Place (Tied)

Today, the Dbacks would go for the series win over the Rockies. Patrick Corbin would be on the mound for the Snakes, and former Snake Jon Garland for Colorado. Who would win out? Read on to find out! Or just look at the headline...

Fang Food: Corn Dogs

This week on Fang Food, we'll be making a food that isn't quite as traditional ball park fair, but nevertheless, still fits the theme: Corn Dogs.

Fang Food: Classics!

This week on Fang Food: We make a classic baseball treat and a classic BBQ side dish.

Rod Barajas finds missing 2001 WS ring in a strange place

So about four years ago, Rod Barajas, he of the 2001 World Series team, and he competing for backup catcher this year, went to go wear his World Series ring. He couldn't find it. Fast forward to last week, he found it. In his wife's shoe. I

Good news, everyone! We get nine more years of Red Sox at Yankees!
