I attended my first Steelers game Sunday night. I had always wanted my first time to be in Pittsburgh, but I didnt know if I would be able to do that before Hines, Troy and some of my other favorites were gone. When 2 free tickets came up, i took them and ran.
I wasn't going to post anything, but after some thought, I wanted to post some observations.  These are not neccesarily about the game itself, more of points that stick out about my experience.

i am new here, and this is my first post.  I am curious as to if anyone knows for sure what happened to Dale Jr. last weekend.  I couldn't tell if they said he lost his brakes or if he just didn't brake early enough.   It doesnt really matter i guess, since he hit the wall either way, but i just wanted to know if it was driver error or mechanical.  Thanks to anyone who can clear that up for me.

     I was watching the NFL network this evening, and they brought up Edgerrin James.  That got me thinking about why he is still out of a job.   In the infinite wisdom of my BTSC peers, I wondered what everyones thery is as to where or if he will play.  

   We know the guy has the talent to be a starting RB in the league, but after last season I  believe there are some questions about his work ethic and whether or not he still has it.  I know there are numerous teams that could use him and in his own words,"there arent 32 RB's that are better than me in the league". 

     In my opinion a team like Tampa Bay or Seattle, where there is no premier back that they can count on would be foolish not to try and sign him.  Other teams, like Chicago or Green Bay could slide him into a 2 back system and have a serious rushing threat regardless of who is in there.  I know a lot depends on cash as well and I am sure he is not willing to take back up money.

i just saw NFL network saying it looks like Ryan is going to take the J-E-T-S job, I am curious to get everyones opinion on how this will effect the ratbirds next season,  also his impact on the jets defense.  and also any thoughts on who the ravens may hire to take his spot, that is going to be a big hole to fill in the staff, and a lot of high expectations to live up to there on defense.

did anyone hear his interview last night after they lost.  He kinda mumbled, but i think he was saying that the Giants were the only team left that could have beat Philly. He went on to say that he was on the Philly bandwagon and that they were going to win it all. I on the other hand think that there are still 3 teams that can beat the Eagles.  McNabb is about due for another bad game anyway.
