Moseley to pitch Wednesday's game against NYY?
According to Yahoo!, click here, Moseley is going to pitch Wednesday against the Yankees.
I for one sure hope that isn't true. I'd rather see Adenhart or Green (who both should be available, unless I'm mistaken) take the mound. I know that neither of them have shown brilliant outings at the MLB level, but I'd rather see Soth give them a chance than Moseley.
What's your opinion ?
Ofcourse, we might just be talking in thin air; it could just be a guess on Yahoo!'s part as nothing is mentioned yet on the official Halos page.

Halos Heaven party ?
So,
In the Strike Force thread/poll, and in several older threads before, the idea of a Halos Heaven party, maybe as an alternative or extra to the Las Vegas party, was mentioned.
Without going in to too much details, I'm just curious to see how many people would actually attend such an event; meet with fellow HH-ers, drink some drinks and eat some stuff from the grill - to name just a simple idea.
If you are interested in such a thing, what do you think the agenda should be like ?

I am not worried
Even though today's game was one of, if not the, worst game(s) I've ever seen, the Halos have made me feel very, very good the past few weeks.
If, a month or so ago, I would've told everyone here we'd go 7-3 on this east coast trip, everybody would've been happy - and most would've thought the three losses would be against the BoSox, or post season friends.
Well, as it so happened, we lost 1 against Baltimore; tough luck, it happens sometimes. We SWEPT the BoSox - and beat them hard in two of the three games. We split the series with the Yanks, and beat them very hard one of the two games we won too. Also, today, we did put up a bunch of runs; much more anyway than we were used to back in June and May.
Maybe it's not needed, but I think a game like this makes us, including me, feel overly negative for too long. We should be positive. WE DID NOT LOSE A SERIES ON THIS ROAD TRIP. How many teams in baseball can go on a road trip this hard, and return home WITHOUT losing a series ?
So, let's stay positive:
- We swept the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park
- Teixeira let his bat be heard today
- We only really stunk it up ONCE in 10 games on a tough road trip
- Torii has proven we need him; thank goodness he's back tomorrow
Now let's hope the Angels put GMJ on the 60 day DL and we can all be happy again.
I'm going to Joe's Crab Shack to have me some party. The Angels are rolling.

Man, that's a lot of money to pay for a guy to back me up.
Robb Quinlan to Scioscia on the Teixeira trade. He just gained credit in my book; great quote.

A whole lotta shakin' going on.
That was my first earthquake experience! Having lived in The Netherlands all my life, all I had to worry about (well, not really ofcourse) were floods.
Check this out.
Sorry for not posting anything baseball related, but that was a first for me... Entire house started shaking here (Irvine).
Seems like a pretty serious one. Hope everyone is fine. And hope Angel Stadium is fine, too ;-)
Yes I know I need seventy five words but I really, really, really don't have more to say right now.

Free Diamond Club seat for Today's game
All,
I'm going to today's game and figured I'd give the Diamond Club a shot. Unfortunately, Stubhub forced me to buy two tickets - that means, as I have no friends :-), I have one left.
Anyone wants to join me at the game ?
They seats are in F120 G.
Drop me a message at renes [at] cmsgurus.net
Apparently I have not yet reached the 75 words limit. I'm sorry but I'm filling this message up with crap like this.

Wood+Quinlan for Texeira ?
Scroll down... With baseball's trade deadline in 10 days, one rumor has Los Angeles Angels utility player Robb Quinlan of St. Paul and minor league third baseman Brandon Wood headed to Atlanta for slugger Mark Teixeira, who can become a free agent at season's end.
