And all I can say is I Love It. You'll notice that this is a great community. That's right, we are a COMMUNITY of LIONS FANS. And after what happened yesterday.

My best advice to all the new posters, is to introduce yourself a little bit. We are all friends here. I did a post in the beginning of the season to say, Hey this is me, this is kinda who I am, and this is what I'm about. If Sean wants to bring that back up then great. Otherwise it's kinda on you. Find it, it's in the archives.

But I guarantee that if you read through that post, you'll realize we are all on the same TEAM. And I'm Proud to have some extraordinary TEAMMATES!!!

But I got home from work tonight, and per the usual I'm checkin in on ALL the Stuff I missed in the last 9 hrs on POD!

I just got done reading Sean's reply to a question over on Cincy Jungle about how Calvin got the nick-name "MegaTron"..... That's right, we all remember, Roy Williams gave him that Dated, Stupid, CG Movie Nick-Name. I Say right now we shed the Best WR in the NFL of this Shitty, Middle School Call-Sign!

I have full faith that the Brain Trust here at Pride of Detroit can come up with a suitable New Nick-Name for the Star of our Beloved team. And we have the Power to Promote this change!!!

My Official 1st suggestion. This week Calvin will be " Ocho Uno" to me!

Oh and by the way Matthew Stafford is now to be referred to as "9". Not "shiny" (although that's funny), not Staff Infection, (although I have one), But as "9", and "9" ALONE! He's A Man, and he DESERVES it. Plus 9/10 ain't bad right?

On a Final note. I HOPE they have "Esteban" Mic'ed Up this week so we can hear him Scream "Veinti Seis!!!" When Louis Delmas Knocks the Life out of Him!!!!! GO LIONS!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick fanpost to solicit a QB. I'm not gonna pretend that I know enough to asses the problems or fixes with your beloved team, I can only empathise with you. And maybe offer a quality veteran QB for trade. All kidding aside, Culpepper looked good coming into pre-season, In good shape and finally healthy. (he did have a M Fer of a knee injury) And I believe he is still capable and determined to start in this league. What do you think, you want him. "Let's Make A Deal"

Over on Bless you Boys, the SB NATION Tigers site they did a "Introduce yourself" post at the beginning of the season. Turned out to be one of the most commented, and funnest post so far. Let's do the same thing here. I know some of us know each other already, but as someone who has followed this site for a while I feel this is a good opportunity to increase the commenting by inviting "everyone" who follows the Lions here to say "Hello".

I'll start, Hello my name is Jeremy, or J16941. 16941 is my PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) membership number, so yeah I'm an avid Disc Golfer. I was born in GR, grew up in TC, and have been a Lions fan from the womb. I live about an hour north of San Diego now, in Temecula (So Cal wine country). I'm 29 and work as a Bartender for The YardHouse, (130 beers on tap :-)) I've been in Cali for 8 yrs now but try to make it home for the Thanksgiving Game every year. It's a good time to see the fam and catch a game. Gotta finish by saying I LOVE this site, and thanks Sean for all the hard work you put in. Check out this clip from the new Eminem video (edited for the kiddies, of course). The part with Tiger Stadium almost had me ballin'. I grew up inside that statium, and have so many great memories there.

I know I fall for this every year, but something feels different this time around. The city of Detroit, NEEDS the Lions to succeed. And for some strange reason I am inexplicably optimistic again.
