Stanley Cup of Chowder The Goaless Beantowners.

In my opinion the managing in Boston has went from great to- mediocre within just one short year.

Last season we were the top dogs in the east- come trade deadline we move a youngster like nokelainen who was red hot for steve montador- waste of a prospect, than we made a move to get Mark Recchi, dont get me wrong Recchi contributed in the stretch but montador was useless as he took ice from hunwick who was playin well all season.

however what I'm getting at is I really thought we needed some goal scoring in Boston and if i were the manager and actually i talked about it all year last year with friends was the [possible acquisition of Maxim Afinogenov he sat on buffalo's bench all season and hes not a 50 year old vet like recchi, he proved the season b4 with a playmaker he could put up pts. this was not a move any NHL team made at the deadline but would of been a good one considering the numbers he is puttin up with Atlanta this year. another noteable for a run at the cup was wade Redden, I'm sure the sens woulda loved to get something in return for him. maybe we could of dealt a draft pick for the loan of him..woulda been nicer to see him in the black and gold rather steve montador.

Than this offseason ..we move our most prolific goal scorer in phil Kessel..maybe he didnt wanna sign, maybe he did- however that was our top scorer and I hope like hell we can get a Taylor Hall out of this deal.

I dont know what the Bruins are building for exactly..but at the turn of the deadline last season it was like we wanted to switch our team completely when what was workin got us to where we were in the first place.

We have two great tendies right now..i hope none leave or get dealt..im glad we re-signed Savard..and sturm along with bergeron is healthy however neither will score more than 40 in a season..and in Boston we need TWO high profiled goal scorers.

this is my opinion and i wish i got it to chiarelli 12 months ago.
