Seen something along these lines put together over at http://www.lonestarball.com/ and thought maybe we could apply it over here to the Boyz. I say lets do likely starters at skill position on offense and throw out a stat line prediction in a generally similar format.Lets start at the top with Romo.Make his format be-

QB rating/Comp %/P. yrds/TD-Int

I'll go first.

94.3/66%/3,965yrds/31-14

Dont even want to look at a kitna line prediction as any significant PT would mean bad things for the boyz. Im interested to see what everyone else thinks, so post predictions in the comments and maybe if there is enough interest, we could post one for other players. link for career stats you say? statshttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6624/career;_ylt=Ai2kKf_M9FuIukskrtVrW_r.uLYF

No link to post since i actually learned of this simply watching the morning edition of SC live on ESPN. Roger felt obligated to give the Boys some sort of notice since rosters will soon need to be down to 53. Community contributions and keeping his nose clean supposedly contributed to the reinstatement. Now the Cowboys can move forward with the idea of starting T-new on the left side and Pac man on the right when everyone is healthy. All i can say is wow, what a backfield.

So Ed Werder of ,ESPN fame, is reporting on the late sportscenter that the Boys might be interested in Chris Simms as a back up alternative if the Buc's back off their asking price of a 4th round pick in exchange. So my questions are as follows....

-is Brad Johnson still alive and with us?

-Chris or Brad as a back-up?

We may have super bowl dreams, but the reality is we are one blind side sack away from having to load up on the back of either an old man who belongs in bingo parlor or the young fella who has more buisness calling bingo than playing in the NFL.

Dolphins just signed up Jake Long almost a week before the draft. Does this change much? says that Miami liked the idea of making sure the #1 was hemmed up and in camp on time. Ronnie Brown comes back healthy? John beck turns out to be the real deal? maybe Parcells is got a plan to make another move with Jason Taylor to get another first day type pick? Interesting dynamic having the first pick set in stone a week before the actual draft. St. louis, you are on the clock!!

mock draft season has started.

Looks like he has the cowboys going offense, and more precisely big 10 offense. mario mannigham with the browns pick and rashard mendenhall with our own. I am all for us picking either one of these guys with one of our picks, but it just seems like if the good 'ol best available players happens to be either an interior lineman or defensive back, its gonna be hard to take two offensive players right out the chute. Like i already implied, i like both of his picks for us as we need to get younger at the WR position and need more depth at the RB position. http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/nfl/dra...

U have to be an espn insider to go to the link on ESPN's website and i am not. I actually caught the order and mel's forcast on the crawl while i was watching espen earier today. Can u sign MB3 long term and go ahead and draft another RB that early? i watched mendenhall once or twice this year and would be all for drafting him. this looks like a deep draft for good RB so i would take advantage. i think sweed would be avaialble if you longhorn fans prefer him over mario, and felix jones looks to be gone before we pick at all.

could anyone clear up our actual situation as far marion and jones contractual situation?

With all the talk of us draftin a rb in the first round(i dont think it will or should happen by the way), i was just wondering what the odds of re-signing either/niether or both of theses guys. Futhermore, do they have any rights as far as qualifing offers to retain rights to either? it seems likely that marion will get a lion's share of any thing and that JJ might just get a minimum offer to make sure the boys get some compensation if he does walk. Would it be so bad if Jewls just accepted a secondary role and a stuck around for small time bucks? i just dont like the idea of us giving up on what amounts to the guy we picked over steven jackson. Make no mistake, i have no want to bring back jewls over marion, but to just let him walk so that we can draft his clone? marion is the real deal in my opinion and should be paid as such, JJ is a back up and should also be paid accordingly. Draft the best players available, thats what good teams with not to many holes do. Once again though, anyone who can offer some clarity to the restricted/unrestricted status and what that entails for our two rb's would be my hero......

and on a side note to terry, nice move on shooting down my trade offer of a Qb and a rb for a single player(who i cant even remember) so that you can leave your injured reserve QB lienart in your starting lineup all year.
