DeSean Jackson
Having contract problems in Philly, this offense could use any type of playmaker especially to get people out of the box for MJD. I think having a deep threat could really open things up for MJD running, the middle of the field for Lewis, and the slot for Thomas to be utilized. Most of his current problems are coming from the Eagles paying all of those Free Agents instead of paying their own players first, cauing problems for Jackson. Thoughts?
Rest of Season predictions
Was reading ask Vic today and the topic of wins for the rest of the season came up.
Vic: They absolutely are in trouble, if they don’t find a way to improve dramatically. As I said in my “quick hits” recently, looking at the schedule, I don’t see one game about which you can say “that’s a win.” Cleveland? Ask New Orleans about Cleveland. Oakland? Ask Denver about Oakland. I said last week that the Jaguars were facing a crossroads. They made a wrong turn in Kansas City and they better get back on the right road real soon or this could become a bitter season.
Took a look at the remaining schedule and i think we win 2-3 games if lucky so just wondering if anyone else has any predictions?
Joe Haden
Reportidly he ran a 4.42(some say as high as 4.39) a the Florida Pro Day. Do you guys think that he now becomes a strong possibility for the Jags at 10 again? Before the combine he could have been a top 10 pick but then his poor times dropped him down alot. Now that his 40 times now reflect better along with his game speed, anyone think he can be that shutdown corner that people predicted at first?
