Revenge of the Birds Stevie B, isn't what the draft is all about?

I saw this morning that Steve Breaston has signed somewhere else, while I am not surprised, it pisses me off to no end.  What happened to the "cultre change" Whiz?  Drafting and developing players is that not the key?  Nothing has changed!!!  Dansby gone, Boldin gone, Rolle gone, and now Steve.  Patrick Peterson are you next, 4 years and done?  Why not, they are going to trade DRC, soon it will be Whiz, Fitz and a squad of UFLers.  And the thing that really chaps my ass is, Breaston isn't even out of the door and the company line, " worried about the knee."  BullSHIT!  We can't afford to keep one of our core guys, but hey Braylon you need some cash, "what stone hands, don't worry about it!"

Revenge of the Birds I say NO to trading DRC for Kolb!

Just my opinon, but I would not trade a Pro Bowl DB, DRC for a what if, could be, maybe QB,Kolb.  Lets take a second and think of this, do you think Ray Horton would want to trade Deion Sanders away because he can't tackle?  Now I am not saying that DRC is Deion, but their style of play is very similar, speed and instincts are the keys to their game not physicaltiy.  If DRC stays take a look at that D, the front line is very good with Dockett and Campbell, the secondary looks to be excellent, 2 top notch corners, A-Dub, Kerry and a strong nickle in Greg Toler.   There is an old expression, win games on D!!  Having said that, I would look at Kyle Orton.  I understand he not as flashy as Kolb, but I would argue that he is more steady, he does not throw the ball crushing picks ala Brettneck.  The age difference is negligable, 28 to 26, and Kyle is battle tested!  I just can't see giving up a pro bowler and a high pick for a MAYBE, COULD BE, QB, just remeber Scott Mitchell, Rob Johnson, and the long list of backups that were traded with high expections only to crash and burn.

Revenge of the Birds Bill Davis NEEDS to be FIRED!!!

I have to say watching the game yesterday and the last few weeks, the D looks awful!  They have talent, AW, Dockett, Campbell, DRC, Kerry, ect., why have they looked so bad.  They looked like the Keystone Cops yesterday trying to make a simple tackle, all I could think of was Chris Berman doing the "whoop" sound with every missed tackle.  Something has to give, poor tackleing, bad schems, who is responsable?  Yes the players have their share of blame, but it starts at the top.  Bill Davis and the D just looks lost!  They can't cover, I saw big play after big play, with little to no adjustments.  Toler has looked lost most of the season, who is being held responseable?  He looked great in the post season last season, what happened?  I starts from the top, they, all of the coaches, need to take a long look in the mirror.  Bill Davis has done nothing to improve this defense.  FIRE HIM NOW!!!!

Revenge of the Birds Just Let Him GO!!!

I will start my emotional cleansing by saying, I am and was a Kurt Warner fan and am very happy and grateful for his time in Arizona with the Cardinals.  The Super Bowl run was unreal, the team came together and went on a streak like no other.

Let me also say I was looking forward to the Mattie Kegstand years, I live in Boston and am a die hard AZ Cards fan, I was at the stadium in 06 for his first start..  Whiz had other plans...

That being said, KURT WARNER IS RETIRED and is going to STAY RETIRED, so then why do Whiz and Darren Urban and Wolf and anyone who has a mike keep bringing up his name like he is comeing to save the Cards?  Compairing Leinart or Anderson or who ever to Saint Kurt, he is gone!!!  It does not help DA or Max Hall or John Skelton being compaired to an AZ  ledgend, espesially one that just retired.  I am on record as saying DA SUCKS, but he is the QB of the AZ Cardinals and will have my support.   Stop with the ghosts of Cardinals past, it is new chapter in the teams history.  PLEASE EVERYONE REPEAT AFTER ME, " IT DOES NOT HELP THE CURRENT SITUATION BY "JOKEING" ABOUT KURT AND HIM COMING BACK!!"

I have one question left, should the tee shirt say IN WHIZ WE TRUST or should say IN KURT WE TRUST?

I would rather be the guy that replaces the guy who replaced a legend!!!

Revenge of the Birds Can Jamie Dukes PLEASE SHUT UP NOW!!

Now that Donovan has been traded to the Washington Redskins, can Jamie Dukes please shut up.  I can't tell you how many times I would watch the NFL network and the converstion would be on where McNabb might end up and panel would say Buffalo Oakland and then Jamie Dukes would say AZ, and elaberate on how the Cards "need" a QB, just disreguarding to Leinart and basicaly disrespecting him.  And it wasn't just one time it seem everytime I would watch he would be beating the snot out of Leinart and pumping up DMc, a 33 year old QB who is on the back 9 of his carrer.  Now I know I may be wearing AZ colored glasses, but Leinart has been in the system for 3 years has come to know what is expected of him and what he needs to do to excell, so just SHUT UP JAMIE DUKES!

Revenge of the Birds Whitehust? 3rd rounder? I think not!!!!

I don't see the infatuation with Charlie Whitehust, am I wrong here?  Never thrown a pass in the NFL, and worst of all giving up a 3rd round pick for an unproven back-up.  I understand we need a back up QB but a guy with some experience might be more useful.  I am not a huge fan of D Anderson, but he just cost money, NO PICK!!  The guy has a big arm, my not be that accurate but he has been in the trenches.  Then you draft a QB, round 4-6,  he maybe a little raw but should have time to learn the game.

Revenge of the Birds HATER-AID

I am sick and tired of all the haters out there, can we please let Mattie Kegstand get a shot before we write him off.  I remember a guy that sat behind a HOFer and later went of to the HOF himself, Steve Young.  Now I am not comparing Leinhart to Young, but there are some similarities there.  From all reports the man is working hard to get ready for the season, lets see what he can do!!!
