How many pre-draft workouts?
I'd like to consider myself a die hard Rockets fan, but the activities leading up to the draft are the things I know least about. I am a student at Sam Houston State and I've come to find out that our PG Ashton Mitchell and our SG Corey Allmond have both worked out for the Rockets this summer.
You may have heard about Corey Allmond because of the spectacular game against Kentucky hitting 11 3 pointers, but I was at every home game and I never imagined that either one of them would have a chance of playing in the NBA. I thought they may have a shot to play in another country if that's something they wanted to do, but never a shot to go to the NBA.
So I'm looking for someone who knows more about this. Just how many players do the Rockets actually work out leading up to the draft? Why would players of the caliber be getting a work out? I'd appreciate the insight.
Thank you Dream Shake & T-Mobile
As one of the winners for tickets to last night's game, I have to say thank you to The Dream Shake and T-Mobile for the opportunity. I can't even begin to describe how amazing the seats were. They were courtside 4th row across from the visitor's bench. I have attended a few Rockets' games in the past, but as a college student, never had the opportunity to enjoy something as great as that. Of course I wish the Rockets had come out on top, but it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. On top of all that, I'm quite sure the back of my head received quite a bit of TV time. Once again, thank you Dream Shake, thank you T-Mobile, and thanks Tom for helping me out in the ticket process.
