Grantland makes a case for Charlotte and Melo.

Why Not Ed Davis?

So when it comes to signing Free Agents next off season, Why does no one mention Ed Davis? I hear about all the wing players that are going to be available that are probably just out of reach for Charlotte, but I feel like Davis could definitely fit in here as a gritty PF who knows how to play with a scoring big like Big Al. Memphis is in a tricky spot where they have to choose between him and Zack Randolph, we could have the cap to grab him once Ben Gordon is off the books. He's a restricted Free Agent too so all we'd have to do is out bid Memphis really. What says you guys?
