Wow... there goes our LBs...
It's a fanshot of a fanpost... is Klay Thompson a Bust?
His dad called to let it be known that he is going to Wazzu. Pretty cool.
H/t to Longball over at the football blog... Some people over at HBO are considering a documentary on Leach and the program would follow training camp and the first few games of the season.
Crazy... he was the guy that I feared on UCLA's team.. as bad as we are this year... could be possibly sweep UCLA for the first time?
My favorite line: "Dog dog, bark bark, do away with the sark; duck duck quack quack are below the Pac" CRAIG EDIT: YOU GUYS. YOU GUYS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS REAL YOU GUYS.
Chris Fowler: This might hurt, Wazzu fans. Gameday was planning on Pullman to salute 4-1 start/107 weeks of The Flag b4 the 8pt lead was lost. Someday...
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Head Football Coach Paul Wulff announced today that junior quarterback Jeff Tuel has been cleared to play in Saturday’s game against Stanford. Tuel met with Cougar team physicians Wednesday morning and after the examination was cleared to play with no restrictions. Tuel suffered a fractured left clavicle in WSU’s season-opening victory over Idaho State and has not played since. Wulff noted that Tuel’s role in Saturday’s Homecoming Game against Stanford will be a gametime decision.
I was actually really hoping for this guy, so I'm glad to see Bone got him. Go Cougs!
I don't know if anybody noticed in Grippi's post, but the game time for the UCLA game was announced. Kickoff will be at 7:30pm and will be on FSN... make that 3 games on TV in a row? Hopefully that trend continues well into the season!
I don't have a subscription, but from the sounds of it, Tuel will practice--albeit limited--this week? Could he be back for Colorado or UCLA?
Some ideas for ZZU cru... that's a great student section!
Found this video thanks to Grippi. I actually noticed a lot of things in this video. The first thing that I thought about was how this could be a great tool to recruit Hawaii kids. The second thing I noticed was how BIG everyone looks in the video and how close everyone seemed. It definitely got me excited for the football season; I can't help but to feel like this season might be special.
So excited... can't wait to see how he plays and I'm glad he'll get some practices in before the first game! Go Cougs!
A new highlight reel I found on youtube. Actually has some great defensive clips from last year too!
Looks like he will be playing in the CFL next year.
Just scroll down a little... There is a real chance we can start 4-0 or 5-0!
Looks like Eric Oertel and, I'm guessing, Kristoff Williams will play this Saturday. I'm a little surprised by Oertel playing because I haven't really heard from him in many practice reports.
Cougfan.com spotlighted this article and it was a decent read. It sounds like this will be Wulff's "first" team.
Wulff has already offered this 2012 QB prospect, named Jeff Lindquist, out of Mercer Island, WA. You can tell why they have offered him so early...
To start with, Connor Halliday, our freshman QB, is looking very impressive. He needs a little more meat on his bones, but this guy has got a great release and a great feel for the game. He's let loose multiple throws that had me pumped up and got the rest of the team hootin’ and hollerin’. It will be fun to watch what he can do as he continues to learn our offense.
