Extra Innings Show Oakland A's
I live in Sacramento and I would like to know how I could listen to the Extra Innings Show? I can't hear it on Money 105.5, because they don't carry it. . Also I can't get the radio signal for 95.7 the Game or 950 a.m from Auburn. I tried listening to the Extra Innings show on 95.7's website, but all I got was Yahoo Sports Radio.
Any help would be great. Also, is the host of the Oakland A's Extra Inning Show Chris Townsend?
The MVP show KHTK
I listened to the two NCAA games on 3-27-11. Those were both great games. After the UNC/Kentucky game they had the MVP show on KHTK. The hosts were Jason Ross and Scott Marsh. I didn't have a chance to listen to the show that closely in the beginning. Could someone please tell me what was discussed? They were talking about Graswich, Jim Crandell, and about some e-mail that was sent. Any help would be great. I wish they would Podcast that show.
KTKZ 1380 Sacramento
I wanted to know a question about the station KTKZ. KTKZ is in Sacramento and they carry the A's at night and on the weekends. Their signal seems to get week after 8:00 p.m. I know that some stations have these type of occurrences with their wattage during the day and at night. Does anyone know if this is true? I was listening to the game last night from Sacramento and the signal seem to get weaker after 8:00 p.m.
KTKZ.com doesn't have any info about the A's whatsoever. Also they do not have an email address from what i can see on the their website. It is (1380 KTKZ) is primarily a progressive talk station.
KTKZ 1380 a.m Aug 16, 2009
The A's played great today. I love the way Bailey kept his focus and his composure. Ellis' homerun was epic. This was a huge game for the A's. I think this game could be a turning point to end the season on a good note.
I was listening to KTKZ 1380 a.m today and they did not have the Extra Innings show today. Does anyone know why? They usually have his show on after the game.
1380 a.m in Sacramento
How's it going? Could anyone tell me what happened with this station KTKZ? They were suppose to carry the A's on weeknights and weekends. I have heard the radio commercials from this station and it seemed very promising. They haven't been on this weekend at all. Has anyone called the P.D? This is a progressive rock and talk station.
Thanks for your help
please email me if you get the chance
Barry Zito
Just wondered if anyone has caught any of the drama going on with KNBR and Ztio. There is a podcast posted on knbr.com with Zito and Radnich. If you listen to the podcast I had noticed a few things.
Zito caught Radnich off guard when he called. Zito called after the show and Radnich told Zito that the stock market crashed. Randich kept telling Zito that the market crashed and Zito didn't say anything. You didn't hear Zito say, that is too bad, or that is a shame. It just seems that Zito is in love with himself , guitar, and his curve ball.
Zito says that he doesn't care what people say about him, however he calls a radio show and wants to think Radnich called Zito evil. That was a bunch of nonsense.
Comcast in Sacramento
I was looking at the A's schedule a few weeks ago and I saw that they were going to play Cleveland at home. I was noticing that the A"s were not going to be on t.v for all three games.
Last week I saw that Comcast was offering a free week of the baseball package. I was happy, because I thought I was going to be able to watch the A's play. The A's were not on.
I know that I am hated on this board, but could someone please tell me why I wasn't able to see them?
Shawn Green and Mike Piazza
It looks like both of these guys are going to retire. I thought Piazza would sign with someone.
Mitchell Report
When I saw the Mitchell Report I was surprised that there were some names that were not listed. There have been quite a few players that I thought they may have used steroids in their careers. Some of the players include: Tony Batista (spelling former A's player), Ron Gant, Brett Boone. Adrian Beltre, Ruben Sierra, Felix Jose, Brady Anderson and Luis Gonzalez.
I know don't have any proof, but all you have to do is look at their stats and wonder.
Mike Piazza on Jim Rome
I was listening to Jim Rome's show today and he was suppose to have Piazza on in the third hour. Does anyone know if the interview went through? I would like to know what Piazza would said if the interview happened. I would love to listen to the interview, but don't want to pay for the membership on Rome's website.
150 K's
I am not trying to pile on, but I went to the game on Sept 1, 2007. This is the game where Cust struck out four times. I realize there were some bad calls from the home plate ump. Is Cust going to reach 150 strike outs? It seems that he either strikesout, homers, or walks. Can you say Adam Dunn?
Tent Sales
I haven't been to an A's game this year, but I am going on May 19th.
I wanted to know if the A's have had any tent sales this year? I wonder if they have any Ben Grieve shirts left? Maybe they have I surrived the Walk off Bunt shirt from 2002 or whenever that great feat happened.

Soupy Sales
Just to let you know I am from Sacramento. Occasionaly I get to listen to the A's on KHTK 1140 on the weekends. That is if the Monarchs, Kings, UCD Davis Football Aggies, and Raiders are not on.
I was listening to the Sunday game and an assistant trainer came out to tend to Bradley. His name was Soupy Sales. I thought this was a joke. Is this Soupy Sales the actor or is this his son?
Sacramento Radio
I was listening to FM radio today in Sacramento. The station was 96.9 the Eagle and I heard a commercial for a new sports radio station in Sacramento.
The station is 1320 a.m. It is a new ESPN 24 Sports talk radio station. Please tell me that they A's will be put on this station.
Mike Piazza and his wife had a baby girl
I just read on a website that Mike and his wife just had a baby girl. I read on www.eddietrunk.com. Mike is really good friends with Trunk. Eddie can be seen on VH1 and MTV. He also has two national radio shows. He has one show on a local station in NYC. He also has an radio show on XM radio. His show is on the Boneyard channel (41.)
I think Piazza daughter was bron on the east coast. I am not sure where Mike lives. I would think he either live in Pennsylvania or New York. I want to say that Mike's wife is from San Jose, CA.
Congratulations Mike!!
Karsay, some questions and a coment
Steve Karsay retired the other day. On Sunday he had an interview with Robert Buan. I only heard one minute of the interview. Could anyone tell me what he said to Buan? What is Karsay going to do with his life after baseball? I couldn't find anything in the Sacramento Bee about his retirement. By the way, the Bee is joke for A's coverage. The A's were on page five of the Bee after they one their 10th game. They have to put more important things on their front page such as; stories on the World Champion Monarchs, auto racing, and the most popular sport on this earth, beach volleyball. Bill Bradley (not the late major) is a horrible editor.
- What ever happened to pitcher Yabu from last year?
- What happened to Frankie Menechino? I went ot minorleaguebaseball.com and typed in his named and it said he was playing on the Louisville. I went to the Louisville website and did not see him on the roster or the injured list.
- Does anyone know if there will ever be some type of release of Bill King audio clips on CD's? I would love to get something that would have his audio clips from basketball, baseball, and football.
Oakland A's Radio contests
Could anyone please tell me how I could enter all of the A's radio contests? The ones I am referring to are the U.S Bank, Kragen, and The Bay Alarm contests. I live in Sacramento and I have gone to a few Kragen auto stores and the counter person did not know about any A's contest. If anyone could let me know how to enter these contest please reply.

Who are going to be the starting pitchers?
I know Spring Training hasn't begun, but the A's have a lot of starting pitchers. I am guessing Zito, Harren, Harden, Loiza, and Blanton? The pitchers are listen in no particular order. There is also Kennedy and Sarloos just to name a few.
There has been talks of trading Zito. Zito's contract is up at the end of the year and he is going to demand the "big money".
Robert Buan and Oakland A's radio
I am new to this fourm. I would like to know if Robert Buan will be on the radio since the move of the flagship station of KFRC 610? I am from Sacramento and it probably won't matter, because the radio situation for this area doesn't look good at all.
One other question. How much does it cost to listen to Major League Baseball over the internet? A friend told me that you could sing up at MLB.com. I went to the website and I could not find out anything about the price for the season. Does anyone know if you were to buy this MLB package, do you get to listen to pre and post game shows with this service?
I currently have XM Radio and it is good, but it doesn't carry the A's road games with the A's broadcast team. You can only listen to the A's home games with their broadcast team.
For Sacramento fans things do not look go for the radio situation.
