I am a huge basketball fan. I can't get enough. It's a disease, I know. I love all things Utah Jazz. I have lived all over the country, but Utah is home for me now. So naturally I have to support the home town team. Since there is only one pro sport in Utah, not including Real Salt Lake, (soccer isn't a sport anyway), I must root for the Jazz.

Is It Time for Sloan to Retire?
I like Jerry Sloan; most of the time. But this season was really trying on my patience. I can't help but think if Sloan had motivated and encouraged his players just a little bit, things would have turned out much differently. Yes players should motivate themselves to play and work hard, but what good is the coach if he doesn't make his players better.
It appears the team is slowly going down hill. How does a team manage to win 12 straight games and then lose 7 of there last 9. Getting ejected at the end of the last playoff game was embarrassing. I guess I just don't understand Jerry sometimes. Maybe its time for Sloan to ride his John Deere out into the sunset once and for all.
Check out these dubious Sloan facts:
-losing road record 8 yrs in a row
-all time playoff record 94-98 .489 winning %
-Ejected from games this year- 5 times
- Never won coach of the year award
- Only advanced twice to NBA Finals out of 6 appearances in the conference finals
-Never won a championship
-Hall of fame coach? You be the judge.
It's time for Andrei and Boozer to go
I don't know if its obvious to the Jazz front office, but it is obvious to me and many other fans, that Kirilenko and Boozer must go. These two are the most selfish and most egotistical players on the team. It has always been about getting whats mine with these two and not helping the team. Well your both about to get whats coming to ya. You're playing days are over. No team wants you. Just retire and save everyone the misery.
Can someone please explain to me why CJ Miles is still starting?
Please help me understand the logic of playing Miles to start the game rather than a veteren such as Kyle Korver or Andre Kirilenko. Am I missing something? The last time I checked Kyle and Andre had had a lot more experience and success in the league than CJ. Didn't Miles start in the D league the last 3 years. Maybe Sloan thought that meant he had to be a starter in the nba too.
