I have "standing room only" tickets for the flyers game on the 26th. I've never had standing room tickets for anything before, and I haven't been to a hawks game in years. Can anyone break down how this is gonna work? I understand that the designation is pretty self explanatory (I will be standing) but I don't know if there's a certain section etc. etc. Any comments, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unique Louisville shirts

Has anyone seen or know a place that sells "unique" cards shirts? Unique isn't exactly the right word, but I'll try to explain what I mean by that. When I've gone to visit friends and family at other schools (for example, U of I or IU), they seem to always have these stores that supply a ton of college merch but also have some non-official merch like screen printed (often hilarious) tshirts. See http://bp1.blogger.com/_nQZLOCqglvA/Ry5Ca4k-PHI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/sff9TZn0cQE/s1600-h/OUR-COACH-CAN-EAT-.jpg

I've yet to see or find anything like that here in Louisville. I have a ton of cards merch but I would love to add some unique, only-student-body-would-have type shirts. Syracuse had some awesome shirts that fit this mold. They had a "Greg Robinson's Farewell Tour" tshirt made http://www.zazzle.com/the_robinson_farewell_tour_shirt-235115898835372121

and they had that Donte go (or something like that) shirt for Donte Greene.

If we have another year of Kragthorpe (and unfortunately that seems like the case), I think it would be awesome for someone to make a shirt for it in the same spirt as the Greg Robinson tshirt. I'm sure they would sell like hotcakes, which I'm assuming at one time or another, were quite the thing to buy.

ESPN Louisville Stereotype...

story appears on TNIAAM. Check out what they have for Louisville.

http://www.nunesmagician.com/2008/11/14/661380/espn-thinks-you-re-a-shelt

ESPN canceled plans Thursday for a TV ad campaign touting its college basketball coverage after learning that the actors were to depict sometimes crude stereotypes of students at specific colleges.

A leaked memo from Anomaly, a New York agency that has produced past ESPN ads, described a casting call for actors in which it sought someone to portray a Tennessee student as "a slutty girl who would hang out at the cowgirl hall of fame" and a Notre Dame student who is "an Asian kid ... who's always fighting."

[ LOUISVILLE ]

MALE. Louisville is very true to place. He's short. He's HISPANIC. And one day he hopes to carry on in proud Louisville tradition and race thoroughbreds.
