tickets for uofl/butler? i got em
long story short, i bought tickets for the game for people at work, and i just found out that our boss was giving away ticket to the game. so as far as i know, i have 2 to give out and i may have as many as 5 to give out. anyone interested, please get in touch with me at ctkatz(zeroone) at aoldotcom. i'm looking for $75 for each one, but i can negotiate. ps: mike, i know you're trying to be a lawyer and stuff but it this shouldn't be here sincere apologies but i don't have accounts at cs.com or itv or else i would have done this there.
if anyone is planning on taking their radios to the new arena...
i took the tour tuesday and I brought my pocket radio with me. its a pretty high end pocket radio too. i tried putting it on 790 and got nothing but static. i put it on 840 and got nothing but static. i put it on 101.7 and got nothing but static. unless they install a low power fm repeater for uofl broadcasts, no one is going to hear the radio call inside the building. i know they put an antenna inside the pepsi center in denver so the fans can listen to nuggets games and avalanche games inside the arena. i'm sure mike can use his considerable influence to get one of those low powered transmitters inside the bucket.

charlie essentially was called right after the pitt debacle and kragthorpe was told right then he was not coming back. i wouldn't be surprised if charlie was called DURING the pitt debacle.
looks like that second half meltdown was really the final nail in the coffin. and when you look back on it since that game and our performance basically struggling in every game since then, even to the lower rated competition it makes me really wonder if kraggy did the team near irreparable damage by not really preparing them to win the rest of the games. it certainly answers a lot of questionable calls the man made this season.
it is only speculation on my part and if that's close to what happened my ambivalence towards the man has turned to outright disgust.
