I have upper deck tickets, and of course like many people paid my bill before the lockout began. I use the installment plan, and was due to have the second installment charged to me tomorrow, 4.1. I called up the season ticket office and made the argument that they should not charge me the balance of my season ticket fees until a deal was in place guaranteeing football in 2011. After arguing for about 10 minutes, the manager agreed to put off payment until May/June. He told me to call back if there was no deal by then. It may be worth a call if you are a season ticket holder and don't want to loan your money to The Danny for the next six months only to get a refund in October or November.

Well, here we go again. The heart attack Redskins are at it again. The defense, once again, fails us. The offensive line, once again, fails us. Special Teams, once again, fails us.

See, I thought that, after we were down 14-0, Shanahan would step up, light a fire, straighten things out, get this team going. This is why he was hired. However, that did not happen. They could do nothing to stop a rookie QB and a back up RB.

And let's talk McNabb. It has taken me a while to accept the fact that he was on our team. I was cautiously optimistic, knowing he was certainly better than Campbell. However, he has yet to win the Redskins a game. The defense beat Dallas. The defense lost to Houston, and all three phases lost today. I am not impressed. Perhaps we shoulda tried to get the dog killer instead of the old guy.

Get the 'Skins out of the media spotlight! Every time I check NFL.com or espn.com the team is in the headlines. Now Steve Largent has some thoughts on the issue...the negative spotlight really blows. Is it possible that The Danny is so isolated from reality that he doesn't see all the press? Or hear the fans?  Or the players? Or GMs around the league?  That guy must live in a bubble in a cave somewhere. Granted, its gotta be a pretty hooked up cave and bubble, but still.

With ESPN reporting that the NFL has officially opened an investigation into whether the 'Skins tampered with Albert Haynesworth, what are we looking at as far as penalties if the league proves it?  ESPN says a draft pick, but which one or ones? A first rounder?  Will there be fines or anything?  And does Haynesworth get in any trouble, or is it just the franchise?
