Crabtree Reportedly Set to Declare for NFL Draft

Next Level Scouting Inc. reports that Texas Tech red-shirt sophomore WR Michael Crabtree has informed several staff members of his intention to enter the NFL Draft.

He is expected to hold an on-campus press conference this week, but he has already started preparations for the announcement

Friendswood QB Karam Commits to Tech

Friendswood Quarterback Jacob Karam has decided his college choice. Karam, who has thrown for over 4,500 yards and 46 touchdowns in the past two seasons announced his choice with KPRC Sports and VYPE, High School Sports the Magazine on Monday.

Karam, after vistiing a camp this past weekend, has decided to play for Mike Leach at Texas Tech.

"It was just a great fit as far as the offense goes," said Karam. " I am really looking forward to getting up there in Lubbock next fall and be a part of Coach Leach's program where they throw the ball 50-60 times a game.

Karam had a dozen offers from programs all over the country including the University of Houston where new Cougars head coach Kevin Sumlin and his staff make a strong push. Missouri and Arizona were also serious contenders for Karam's services.
