That formation the Fins used in the game against the Pats was like Dan Henning's spin on the Wild Hog run by Arkansas with Darren McFadden. It was crazy. Every time the Dolphins used it, they got BIG results. I haven't seen a Dolphins' game with this many Dolphins highlights in i don't know how long.

Anyways, I've been calling the formation the Wild Porpoise.

What name have you guys coined it?

Anthony Armstrong Waived

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/blogs/content/shared-blogs/palmbeach/miamidolphins/entries/2008/08/31/armstrongs_dream_ends_in_less.html

Wide receiver Anthony Armstrong, one of the feel-good stories of training camp, has been placed on waivers, said a source familiar with the situation.

Armstrong, a 25-year-old rookie who used to play in the Arena League, was one of six wide receivers to make the Dolphins’ 53-man roster on Saturday, joining Ted Ginn Jr., Derek Hagan, Ernest Wilford, Greg Camarillo and Davone Bess.

Armstrong’s happiness was short-lived as the team replaced him with one of the cast-offs from one of the other 31 teams.

If another team does not pick up Armstrong from waivers, the Dolphins then could add him to their eight-man practice squad.

Armstrong, who played at West Texas A&M, was one of the surprises of training camp, outlasting a three-year NFL veteran (David Kircus) and three fellow rookies (Selwyn Lymon, John Dunlap and Jayson Foster).

Blessed with some of the best speed on the team, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Armstrong was the Dolphins’ best deep threat along with Ginn, the team’s first-round pick in 2007.
