Is this possible?
My roommate and I were discussing this whole thing about trading future draft picks. I'm a Vikings fan and he's a Browns fan, so you can only imagine the dreams we have. We were talking about the Jets stealing Cromartie for a 3rd rounder next year. This is where the hamster started spinning. The talk around the league is that there may not be a season next year. Some "experts" even give it a 50-50 chance. With that being said, the Jets could be getting Cromartie for an invisible draft pick, if there is no season next year. Furthermore, what's to stop any team from trading away their entire draft? If there's no season next year, then teams really wouldn't be giving up anything. I understand that it's a 50-50 chance, but those are good odds. If a team is in a "win now or never" situation, it seems like a legit gamble to put that team over the top. Imagine if the Vikings traded all their draft for some O-Line and secondary help, won the Super Bowl, and then no next season. It is possible...
