What an amazing couple of Days.

http://www.hoopsworld.com/indiana-pacers-trade-oj-mayo/

Bill engram of Hoops world has indicated that they have completed a deal that would send OJ Mayo to indiana for just a Sign and Trade for Josh McRoberts and Brandon Rush.

Can Larry get even Better or Higher than the job he is doing?

I love the addition of OJ Mayo. This is a great Team, and Very young Core with some creat Leadership. Amazing day for this Franchise. No pick Sent. AMAZING.

Indy Cornrows Chris Paul Movement

If New Orleans is thinking about giving in to Chris Paul's demand for a trade. He said that the Clippers would be a good fit. I had an Idea for a three team trade that would be pretty special for all teams involved.

The Clippers would want Chris Paul.

New Orleans would want some young talent and Picks to rebuild.

Pacers want to get better now to compete in the east

Clippers get CP3, Rush, Price

New Orleans gets Grainger, Collison, Kaman, Bledsoe and Minny's 1st

Pacers get Eric Gordan, Jarett Jack, and Okafor.

Clippers gets what it wants in Pairing CP3 with Blake Griffin with a contract extention.

New Orleans gets its home town kid in Grainger, their young point guard they regretted trading, some back court depth and another young point guard with the potential to crab a major Pick in nexts year draft.

Indiana gets a great player in Gordan. A great 4 who does everything this team is missing, and the point guard that we wish we would have resigned.

Indiana gives up a lot of talent to make itself a more complete team and move this team from granger's team, to Hill, Gordon, and PG, and Hibberts team.

Pacers look good with still 17 million in cap space and another 10 still coming off the books agian next year.

Starting five Bench

PG - Hill ------------ Jack

SG - EJ ------------ Stephenson/Jones

SF - P. George----- Posey

PF - Okafor --------- Hansbourgh

C - Hibbert---------- Foster

This is an all around good team. Pick up some bench help and resign your own and this will be a team that could be really good next year and for the next 5.

Blog a Bull Listen Up NBA players

This is to all you NBA players who are threatening to leave to go overseas if the NBA doesnt give you want.  Your league is losing money; your owners are losing money; you country is losing money.  The majority of your fan base makes less than 100k a year and you want to sit here on a national stage and tell the world that if the Owners do what they have to do to survive you will take your game overseas.  Pay cuts by a third. Its a big pay cut.  Lets start with Deron Williams.  20 million per that a 6.67 million dollar paycut.  That is a lot of money. But if you can live off of 13 million a year, you should be shot for stupidity.  We dont need people like that as role models.  Be greatfull you are able to make money at all for a job that is something most people do for free.  The Love of the game.  Let me do the Math for some of you NBA players that think you can live without being the highest paid guy.  13 million over 4 years 52 million dollars.  (Raise of hands - How many people make that in a lifetime?)  Not many.  People like my dad talk about a lottery that is 3-10 million and how that would take care of him and the family for life.  Its not a lie.  With 52 million you should never ever have to worry about money again.  Here are some things I am trying to get spread of some social networks that I posted.

To all you NBA players out there who say they will go overseas if the NBA doesnt give you what you want; let me speak for all Americans, GOOD BYE!! For all you players who think you are better than all the people who come and watch you play, let me speak for all Americans, GOOD BYE!!

Just an FYI, there are plenty of people that would love to play for an NBA team, and you will not be missed. Last I checked Americans are in a economic downfall and still pay good money to watch you play. If you want to complain losing 4 million of your 20 million just to save your sport than you dont deserve to be here and we would love for you to leave!!!

Most Americans who come to watch you play dont even make 100k a year. We do not mind you leaving. There are plenty of playing in college that will take your place. This is America. The home of the free and the brave. This is the home of Basketball. Deron who? Kobe who? Noah who? You want to leave? Dont let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!!!

We as fans have to stand up to these overpaid babies and let them know that we stand behind a program that is best for the game.  We have to let the league know that we do care about player safety and that they should be mandated to put a certain percentage away for their retirement.  We are not going to stand for stupidity anymore.  If they dont want to be apart of it, let the league and the players wanting to better this game that we are behind them 100%.

Indy Cornrows So good i just had to make another post about it...lol

A new Trade Idea that has me wondering

Does this trade make both teams instantly better?

Pacers trade – Granger, Price, Jones # 42

Denver trades – Felton, Gallinari, Harrington #22

Denver would love to pair up Ty Lawson, Aaron Afflalo, and Nene with Danny Granger. that would be a pretty good defensive team. They also are not giving to much talent up to get a legit scorer and above average defender and rebounder. They also get rid of Al Harringtons 6 mil a year contract.

Pacers get some great depth out of the deal. Gallinari can score and you take a hit on his defense, but you do not need 5 good defenders out on the floor at one time. You would put a line-up of this of the floor.
Collison
George
Gallinari
Hansbourgh
Hibbert
You can use felton at the two and one and stephanson at the two and one. Harrington is a offensive threat that can give you 10 points and 5-6 rebounds a game in 20 minutues. But here is what I would be excited about. Revisit talks with memphis about rush and the 15 for OJ Mayo. Then at 22 take Tobias Harris. He can play 3 or 4 and will only be 19 when the season starts.
Now your line up is more althletic and defensive, with a lot of offensive in your second unit.
Collison
Mayo
George
Hans
Hibbert
With Felton, Gallinari, Harris, Stephanson, Harrington, Posey coming off the bench. You will need to sign a center, but that is a really deep team. Best part of this trade is that you will have Posey at 7 mil, Felton at 7 mil coming off the books next year. Thats 14 million additional cap space for us to add to our core. I still fill we could make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed and see another 15-17 pick next year and be able to spend some money and make some plays for some really good teams for the future.

SLC Dunk I have a trade with the pacers

Its Probably time to kill me Jazz fans.  The Jazz are one of the teams i have followed since I was a kid, watching stockton and Malone tear it up.  Because of them I have always watched the Jazz when ever I get a chance.  You also have Hayward.

I want to get the in put of a trade Idea with you that totally puts you with youth.

Utah trades - Harris, Jefferson, Milsap

Pacers trade - Hibbert, Collison, Posey, Rush, 15th, 42nd, and Lottery protected 2013 first round pick.

why I think the Jazz do this.

They will have the 3, 12, 15, and two 2nd rounders.

Young Core in Hibbert, Collison, Favors, Hayward and the 3 picks from this year.  Good depth with the 2nd rounders.  Two first's next year and two first in 2013.

Pg - Collison, first round pick?

Sg - Bell, First round pick?

Sf - Hayward, Evans

PF - Favors, First round pick?

C - Hibbert, Okur, pick?

Your salary next year will be at 32 million plus your picks with 19 million coming off the books for 2012.  That is a great young team with all the cap space you can dream of.  I would like it, but i am guessing i am going to get destroyed.

Indy Cornrows A New Rosterbation!

For everyone out there looking to hear anything envolving trades for the draft, you are probalbly not getting anything untill draft night.  Larry bird does not like to talk about what he is thinking untill it is over.  Also on that front there has been really no news on any major sites about movement.  The lastest players linked to be traded are Josh Smith, Marvin Willisms, Monta Ellis, Andre Iguodala, #2 pick, Richard Hamilton, Bynum, and D. Cousins.  That is really all Im seeing around the Rumor Mill.

If we make no trades on draft night and select a player at 15 and go into the offseason there is a plus there if the league locks itself out which seems more viable everytime that the players and owners meet.  The players want more, the league wants less, way less.  We are nba fans.  But if you talk to people around town, they could care less.  I hear "well they made the playoffs, I wait and see if they can do it again."

That got me thinking.  If they do move granger in the offseason.  What do they have to get back to make the playoffs.  Minny is shopping the #2 pick and DG has been mentioned as a player they are going after.  I read on a blog spot for minny that they would offer #2 pick, Anthony randolph, Webster, Flynn for DG, Jones, Collison.  Thats too much on this end to give to them.  We are not going to make the playoffs giving up to starters for maybe one.  Like all teams people over value there assets because they are fans.  Dont get me wrong, I love anthony randolph, I see him like a Jermaine Oneal.  Not playing much his first three or four seasons and going to a team where he can start and develope into a big time power forwar.  The kid is only going to be 22 years old this season.

Anyway a trade with minny will prolly put us back into the lottery.  Danny is a good player.  He played good in the playoffs.  If you want to stay in the playoffs I think you have to keep him and get a player or two this year and the final pieces next year.  But at least we will be like the old days where we can watch playoff basketball and hope for the best.

On that note.  Miami is 26 James 28 wade 27 Bosh.  they are in thier prime.  You will have to outlast them like we had to do with the bulls.  If we put together a great depth team with great defense and a go to player we will have the chance to beat them if we have a good series.  I think that we either need to go for gold and trade for potential and see if we can maintain or we go for a team that still has good youth and you put that with some veteran players and make a run for the next 5 years and see where that takes you.  Either way I want to stay in the playoffs.  Once you get there, there is no saying what could happen.

Anyway, sorry so long.  Lets hear your thoughts and Ideas.

Indy Cornrows Houston Trade

I am thinking that a trade with houston would be awesome.  I have to use cap fillers, so I threw in two crap players to fill in.  but the trade can be a little different once money is off the books.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3fall7y

Pacers get the 14th and 23rd picks and Jordan Hill,( Thabeet, Williams. ) = throw in players

Houston Gets - Granger, Price

Pacers get a Defensive PF/C in Hill and two additon picks.

At 14 you take Singleton for Defense

At 15 you take Klay Thompson (reggie miller like)

At 22 you take Jeremy Tyler - he will have time to develope.

pg - Collison / Stephanson

SG - Thompson / jones / Free Agent

Sf - George / Singleton / williams

PF - Hill / Hansborough / McBob

C - Hibbert / Tyler / Foster / Thabeet

Thats a decent Roster!!  Thats a trade where houston isnt giving up to much to retain there final piece. What you think?

SLC Dunk Jazz and Pacers

I like this draft. I like it a lot. There is no star power in it, but plenty of good options. I like Jimmer to. I watched his interview and workout the other day and love what he brings to the table.
I want a trade with Utah that nets us a pick or two. I have two options I like.

1st is a trade that nets us some draft picks.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4y8d776

Utah has done a great job getting some draft picks for the future. They however do have some star power that looks like if you add a peice or two you can really have a good foundation of youth and exp to make the playoffs and compete. I want a trade that also keeps us in the playoffs.

This trade nets us an expiring contract and youth.

IND gets- Okur, Hayward, the 3rd and 12th picks in the draft

Jazz get- Granger, Rush and A.J. Price

I like this trade for the Jazz. It keeps them competing for the Now and still hold on to thier core players and thier future picks.
Starting 5
PG- Harris
SG- Bell
SF- Granger
PF- Milsap
C- Jefferson
Youth back ups in – PF- Favors and Rush and Price Also Exp back ups in AK-47.

Ind Gets three picks in this years draft. 3, 12, and 15. We get a young player in Hayward and an expiring back-up center in Okur. Our roster is shaky a little. You get a lot of youth, but you can fill your holes with some Veteran Free Agents. Wilson, Stuckey, Crawford, etc.
Our Line up is this.
PG- Collison
SG- Jones
SF- George
PF- Hansbourgh
C- Hibbert
I make this line-up from what is left from on the team from after the trade, but before your draft and Free Agency.
My take on the Draft
3rd pick – take Kantar
12th pick – Federette
15th Pick – Markief Morris
What this does for your team is Give you three really good role players in Kantar at the 5, Morris at the 4, and Jimmer at PG.
Now your Team Looks like this
PG – Collison / Jimmer
SG – Jones / Stephanson / Open
SF – George / Hayward / Open
PF – Hanborough / Morris
C – Hibbert / Kantar / Okur
Even without signing any big time players you still have a very competitive team full of youth and talent. A talent that will play well together. You will have a cap at the 2 guard, but I am sure you can pick up a talent in Free agency wether it be at the 2 or 3 spot because you have george who can play either.

Indy Cornrows Wow Pacers Fans

Well for all of those pacers fans in attendance at the game thank you for your support.  But what happened to the rest of you that were there thursday?   Did we go out and sell every ticket we could to Chicago fans.  Are we turning into a ban wagon town.  We cant stick by a team that has actually went out and did something good this year and made all Indiana fans proud?  Today was a great day for the pacers and a bad day for the fans.  All I could think of today is that we should be disappointed in our city and our fans.  I know we are better than that.  We are a city that can sell out every single game that we play.  This is a amazing city and we should all get behind this team.  Make the Pacers proud Indianapolis.

Indy Cornrows Atlanta Trade

This is a trade that I think will benefit both teams.  Do not kill me on this one but i really think this will help everyone.

Atlanta gets:  ford, Posey, rush

Pacers get:  Crawford, Williams

The reason why the pacers are going to do this trade is that they get a quality two guard even if they are just rent him.  Williams is a pretty good player.  He is expensive, but really he could be a trade chip down the road or maybe fit in as a sixth man.

Atlanta needs a quality back up point guard, Ford is supposed to be on their radar.  Rush is in need of a change.  Posey  is a quality 3 and good to add to any team.

Looks good for both sides and I like this deal.

Indy Cornrows Deadline deals we have to look for!

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4penoka

I was doing some thinking about teams looking to unload salary to, and maybe some cap relief before the new cba.

The Clippers

The 76ers

Those are the two teams I would like to see us go after.

The clippers we give all of our cap space to just to attain Eric Gordan.

Pacers get : Gordan, Davis, Kaman

Clippers get:  Ford, Dunleavy, Foster, S. Jones, Branden Rush.

We get rid of all of our capspace for EG.  Kids a player...but you will probably have to part with a first round pick and give up all that expiring for him....would i do it....IDK.  Probably.

Next is Philly

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4a7s5jf

Pacers get: Iguodala

Philly gets:  Dunleavy and Rush

If philly wants us to give a first round pick i think we ask for thadeous young and put some more expiring in thier for them....but we do not take on brand's contract.

Just some thoughts...what do i know though.

Indy Cornrows Chad Ford say NJ sets its eyes on Granger!

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6eejx29

A straight trade with New Jersey does not work with the Pacers.  But what if you get Detroit involved with this trade as well it works well.

I have been researching rumors from these three teams to figure out what a good trade  would look like for these teams.

From Detroit the rumors are that they want to dump salary and start over.  They are shopping Prince, Hamilton, Gordan and some others to see what they can get back.

From New Jersey, They want some star power.  Danny Granger is supposed to be their back up plan to Melo.  You dont have to give up as many assests and you still get you players you wanted.

From Indiana, rumor was no one was untouchable anymore, and I am still wondering if that is what it is and just rumors, but since they are out their we will have some fun with it.

Here is the Trade-

Pacers get - D. Favors, Ben Gordan, and NJ first round Pick.

Detroit gets - Murphy, Rush, and Humphries

NJ gets - Granger and Hamilton.

Why the teams do this trade.

New Jersey wants to win and put stars on the floor for Brooklyn.  A Starting Lineup for New Jersey would look like this

Pg  Harris  Sg Hamilton  SF Granger  PF Open/free agent next summer C - Lopez

That is a really good core to work around.  That is a winning team.  Now they will have to sign a good PF and look to replace hamilton eventually, but that is a team that will have to win now.

Detroit wants a new start.  They pick up all those expiring contracts and Rush just to help fill that void untill they find a longer solution for what they want for their team.  lottery picks will help.  Plus they still have prince to trade away for some picks and maybe some young talent.

Finally the Pacers.  Losing Granger is hard, but you get a mid round pick from NJ plus your lottery pick and Derick Favors.  Gordan has a big contract, but you can use his shooting until you find your solution their.  This team could use this for a fresh start and could still make the playoffs next year.  I am in Favor of this trade. lol!

Indy Cornrows LA Clippers

There are rublings out in LA that the clippers are trying to dump salary so that they may put a star next to griffin next year.  As the pacers do you make a trade that sends all your expiring to LA for all their veterans and gordan or a first round pick.  Maybe two if you dont get gordan?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4wf8hso

this trade is with gordan.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6dwhgzq

This trade is without with maybe a couple picks.

That gives you Kaman, and Davis that will be good trade bait later and a couple more picks that at least this year will be a top ten pick.  I think if you dont get gordan that if you at least get a top ten pick you think about it.  idk.

Indy Cornrows Granger Trade Bait..what can we get!

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about this team and about what would be good going toward the future.  I have tried some trades that I think would really put us back, but something other than firing our Coach has to happen.  Maybe we move Granger and see what we get in return.  Here are some ideas!

First trade I can think of is with Utah.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=33kb2rt

Pacers get - Kirilenko and Hayword and a 2011 First round Pick.

Utah gets - Granger Foster and Jones

I still dont know if I like this trade but you get a big expiring contract and a couple young prospects.  Do you ask for more than One First rounder with how late the picks will be?

My next trade is with Golden State.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=377kscz

Pacers get -  Ellis and Udoh and 2011 first round pick

Golden State gets - Granger and Jones and McRoberts and 2011 second round Pick

First thing that jumps out here; will GS give up udoh ellis and a first rounder?  They want that team to be curry's and he granger and Lee can put together a pretty good team.

For the pacers you get a scorer, and the potential of a dale davis type kid, maybe! This first rounder will be descent in the teens, so not so bad.

My next Team is with Memphis

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=26b4qrj

Pacers get - Randolph, OJ Mayo and 1st Round pick

Memphis Gets - Granger, Foster, Ford and 2011 Second Round Pick and 2012 2nd rounder

You are renting Randolph for the remainder of the year.  Mayo and a 1st rounder is what you want here.

For Memphis you get a great 3-4 combination in Gay and Granger.  They are wanting a back up point guard. Really ford and Foster are expiring's that can get you to the playoffs.   Well see.

This Trade is my Favorite.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2ffnsyb

Pacers Get - Gordan, Davis Contract, 1st rounder

LA Clippers get - Granger and Ford and 2 2nd rounders

Getting a first rounder here would be hard, but I think you ask for it... you will have to take baron davis for three years...that really stinks.

Here is a trade that is for future only

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=23qvpua

Pacers get - Lewis and 2 1st round picks

Washington gets - Granger, Posey, Jones.

We take on a huge contract but get two lottery draft picks plus ours lottery picks.  that is worth it.

Washington gets in Robin for their Batman in Wall.

What does everyone think...its a lot of trades but you have to look at all options.  The last two are my favorites.

Indy Cornrows Pretty simple trade

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2adjkuo

This is simple and fills a need for both teams.

Pacers get Jeffries

Rockets get Ford

We need a Power forward and they need a Point guard.  Simple.

My other simple trade is with Atlanta

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=25brqrk

Pacers get J. Crawford

Hawks get M. Dunleavy

We get our scoring option at the Two and they get their scoring option at the Three.  These are both really possible and both really help both teams.  Get it done.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2etcmwr

I know everyone is tired of hearing about trade rumors.  I am tired and just want to see a good deal go down for our Pacers.  But their are some rumbling that the pacers could be in play for Hinrich when his trade restriction ends and he can be trade with other players agian.

Pacers - Ellis, Hinrich, Wright, McGee

GoldenState - Arenas, Dunleavy, McRoberts, Indiana's 2011 and 2012 Second round Picks, Washingtons 2012 First round Pick.

Washington - Beidrins, Murphy, Jones

Golden State is looking to get rid of Ellis and Biedrins.  They are looking for a good player some youth and a small forward to start for them this season.  They get all three of their wants in this trade.  They do have to take back Arenas but they get a first round pick and a couple second rounders.  That will give them the tools to restock thier roster under new ownership.

Washington gets rid of Arenus.  They replace what they lost at center with a starting caliber center and the get a starting power forward who opens up the lane for John Wall.  They get a SG in Jones that will help lock down the two and three positions and be a good Sub or starter for a team looking to grow around Wall.  O yeah!  did i mention they got rid of Arenas.

Pacers are looking for a point guard and another star to play along Danny Granger.  They are either going to have to bring in some stars or take him to some stars.  He is ready to win now.  Ellis will fit in well in indy if he matures.  Hinrich can start at Point Guard for the next  3 to 5 years.  That is plenty of time to develope one or find a replacement.  We lose some depth at the PF spot but pick up some help at Center and PF.  These Additions to go along with Rolle with help get the pacers to the Playoffs.  Does this bring a championship not yet.  But it is closer.

By the way we will still have Ford and Foster's expiring contracts next season.

PG - Hinrich/ Ford/ Price

SG - Ellis/ Rush/ Stephanson

SF - Granger/ George

PF - Hansborough/ Wright/ Rolle/ Jones

C - HIbbert/ McGee/ Foster

Indy Cornrows Bobcats trade with a twist!

I have had some decent trades posted on here to bring in some pretty good talent.  I really think that if we are going to make a trade the Atlanta deal I was talking about is prolly going to be the best deal to make this team very athletic and fun to watch.

Here is a deal that I think would benefit this team.  This team would not match our system, but it would still be a good team to watch.

Here's the trade

Pacers Recieve:  Peja S., Collison, Dampier

Bobcats Recieve:  Foster, Ford, Rush, Posey

New Orleans Recieve:  Henderson, Diaw, D. Jones, Murphy, Indiana 2nd round Pick

Why the Pacers do it.  Only for collison.  You get your point guard.  there is no room for Dampier, you cut him.  There is no room for Peja, but he can hit the three so he will be played some.  Collison is why you do this trade.

Why Bobcats do this.  You get a the veteran point guard to back up d.j. Augustine.  You pick up a young piece in Rush.  You pick up a clutch bench player in Posey.  And you get Foster, an extra body down low.  I think they like this trade for cap flexibility next year.

Why New Orleans.  This is a trade that will benifit them 100 fold.  The west is weak behind LA.  You get the guy who shut down Kobe two years ago in Jones.  This is huge.  You recieve a very talented youngster in Henderson who is going to play very well with Paul.  Murph will fill the Peja roll in open the middle for drives, as well as diaw.  But Diaw and Murph come off the books.  Starting Line up PG- PAUL SG- JONES SF- hENDERSON PF- WEST C- OKAFOR They can still make a move or two to better thier rotation and bench.  But an overall good starting lineup.

Indiana's Line-up looks like this

PG- COLLISON

SG- DUNLEAVY

SF- GRANGER

PF- PHYCO T, OR MCROB

C- HIBBERT

Im not mad at that line-up.  Could you then imagine if we made a push for Josh Smith at PF.

Pacers Get- Josh Smith,

Atlanta Gets- McRoberts, Dunleavy, 1st round Pick

Now we have a great line-up and some great depth that can  compete right away.

PG- COLLISON 2- PRICE

SG- GEORGE 2- STEPHANSON

SF- GRANGER 2- PEJA

PF- SMITH 2 PHYCO T

C- HIBBERT, ROLLE

That is a ten strong line up that is young and ready to grow and dominate this league.  all trades work with the CBA and are possible to do september 1 because of dampier.

Indy Cornrows Call me Crazy, Atlanta and Pacers trade

Pacers Get- Horford, Smith, Bibby

Atlanta Gets- Ford, Rush, Murph, Mcroberts 2011 first round pick, 2012 protected first round pick. Top three protected.

I am sure all of you are already saying, (your kidding me right?) Let me explain.  There is a lot of roubling out of atlanta that they are looking to move horford and smith.  They have the young talent to replace Smith and Bibby in the starting line up.  Horford, they  are afraid he will leave after this year.  Bibby is a good point quard but they are willing to lose him if the price is right.  they will get expiring to add a potential star to team up with Johnson.  They also want young assest to be role players and develope into stars if possible.

Why the Pacers to it.  Smith and Horford in this system is scary.  Smith is really scary in this system.  could you imagine how athletic this team could be.  Probably the most athletic team in the league.  You give up a lot of young assets at the moment.  But you have the stars and still enough money under the cap to fill in the pieces to make a run at miami.  Smith is more athletic that bosh.  Granger can guard James. Jones and George can Guard Wade.  But wait they can also score.  You have two really good centers in hibbert and Horford. *(what team do we know that just won a championship with two dominet big men)* This is a dream team for Indiana.  I want larry to read this and get this trade in the books.

What do all you think?

Indy Cornrows Ideas I see a real fit for

All week long through all the sites i visit all i keep reading about the pacers is thier countless search for a pg.  When all the smoke settle I believe that thier are so great options we can have as free agents that will have no problem running our team.  First things first, we are not a championship team.  Second it is going to be hard to make a blockbuster trade without taking back way more than you give, aka the luxary tax which we will not go over. (On that point, if you want Indiana to get back to the 90's where people wanted to come here and they would go over the cap, then we have to fill the seats. Support the franchise while its down and we will turn it around.  We are not ban wagon fans.  Stay loyal and go pacers!)

Here are the options that I would love to have.  Jordan Farmer is my first option.  Why, he is 23 with a lot of optside.  With the triangle offense he is more like a shooting guard, Aka derek fisher role.  Hes a true point guard.  In our system he should fit in great.  Also at 23 he has got time to grow into his role.

I would love to sign two point guards, the second being kyle lowry.  He is also young with potential he has not crack open yet.  He is a bit of a reach in the terms that you dont really know what he is going to bring to the table for you.  But I think you will be able to bring both these guys in and say the position is yours to have.  The compition would bring the fight and desire out of both and maybe just take care of that position for now.

A trade that I would make with toronto losing both and possibly turkolu there is a great option to trade them for jarack Jack.  He fit our system so well and really came into his own at the end of the season two years ago before we left them.

The Trade would be Jeff Foster for Jarack Jack straight up.  it would allow toronto to move bargnani to PF and let Foster and their Youngster split minutes at center.  This gives us a starting pg and allowes us to still get farmer or lowry and have the position salitified.

Starting Five

Jack/ Farmer/ Price

Jones/ George/ Stephanson

Granger/ Dunleavy/ George

Murphy/ McRoberts/ Hansborugh

Hibbert/ Rolle/ Solo

I know that this is kind of a long post but here is a trade I think that the pacers could make that would allow them to get some young talent to help with the future.

Pacers Get : Micheal Redd and Ersan Ilyasova

Pacers Trade: TJ Ford, Brandon Rush, Troy Murphy

This would help out with getting us to the play offs.  I really like this Ilyasova Kid.  I saw him play last year against the pacers and his upside is tremendous.  I love micheal redd because he is a great compliment to dannys and georges driving ability to just hit open threes and make shots when danny cant.

Milwaukee gets Rush to back up salmons and I think this opportunity for him would be awesome.  We send T.J. ford back to the team that drafted him and he backs up jennings for a great second option for the team.  then they get a starting PF in Murphy that will allow them to have a forward that plays with bogot that will spread the floor and help jenning and bogut and salmons in getting them open shots and hitting the three.

Our new starting five would be

Jack/ Farmer/ Price

Micheal Redd/ George/ Stephanson

Granger/Dunleavy/ George

Ilyasova/ McRoberts/ Hansbourogh

Hibbert/ Rolle/ Solo

I Like this team alot and think that it would make a run at the playoffs and have some potential down the road to make some deap runs. We would still have 15 million to spend nest offseason to get a quality star to help.  I am not sure if this is the best way to change the team but i know that i would like the potential of this team.

What does everyone think.

Indy Cornrows Milwauke looking for a veteran presence

I love a trade that would send Murph, Ford, Dunleavy to the bucks that would send back Redd, Ridnour, and a future first round pick.

That would give the pacers a point guard that can play untill we can find a better one.  Also i love redd when healthy.  Plus we get a pick that will help with our future.

For the bucks it gives them all the experience they need and want.  Ford is a slower jennings and dunleavy is a good scoring option to back up magette.  Murph is murph.  He would fit and love playing with drivers like magette and jennings and would not block up the paint that bogut takes up.  to me this is a win win for both clubs.

My solution to point guard is not ridnour, he is good, but a good backup.  I would love to sign felton or livingston on a cheap solution to drive competion for a starting job.  plus the extra pick next year could land us a really good point guard in the draft.  Now we dont know how good the draft will be yet.  but their are some really top young pgs that will be one and done next year.  Selby, Knight, Irving?

What does everyone think?

Indy Cornrows Memphis and Indiana Trade

Sources say that memphis is shopping all three of thier picks to get some cap space or some young talent.  I have a trade that would give them some cap space and some young talent.

Pacers Trade Troy Murphy TJ Ford Brandon Rush Josh McRoberts
Memphis Trades Mike conley Zach Randolph the the 12 23 and 28th picks in the draft.

This give the pacers four picks in this years draft.  This helps them finish rebuilding now and also a legit point guard and four to shore up starting roster spot.
For memphis this gives you tons of cap space and young talent to help your roster with some outside shooting and some athletism.  The only reason memphis makes this trade is if they resign rudy gay.  This will give them enough space next year to also resign marc gasol and OJ mayo the core of the team moving forward.
What does everyone think of this trade.
