I am just another Oakland Raider Hater raised watching #7 do the impossible. I was raised by my mother, who is possibly the biggest Dennis Smith fan there ever was. The first football game I ever watched beginning to end was the SF super bowl blow out, and I haven't been able to stop since. I am no football genious, but I am a kwik lerner, so I am excited to get to ask questions of people who actually understand the game.

Go Broncos, and let the Global Warming Gods bring on the snow (oh yeah, I ski more than I watch football so you won't hear from me on most powder days).

I am no stat expert like The Dude and I haven't got a ton of football knowledge like HT, but it does seem clear to me that the Broncos have met or, in most cases, exceeded everybody's expectations this year.  Yet MHR is mired in negativity one day removed from a loss to a long time rival.  I think that this can best be explained by looking at how our expectations have evolved.

Blackout in the Blackhole

'The raiders have had two games blacked out each season since taking over ticket sales from Alameda County before the 2006 season. This marks the first division game blacked out during that time.'

I almost feel rejected by this, as if the raider fans don't feel we are good enough to throw D batteries at.

Is it bad etiquette to reference an MHR comment in an MHR fanshot? Oh well, this is pretty funny. Maybe we should make a point of telling any sports reporters that we hate dukes just to hear their opinion.
