Will you feel guilty when/if the Jags leave Jacksonville?
As I sat on my flight back to California (where I currently live) after flying to Jacksonville for the sole purpose of supporting my beloved Jaguars in their home opener, I found myself in a very depressed state. Was it partially stemming from the performance of the Jaguars play against the Cardinals? Yes. But almost all of my negative feelings came from something other than the actual Jaguars organization.
The so called “fan base” of the Jaguars is what really pisses me off. Although I realize completely the impact and hurt that comes along with being a passionate fan of the Jaguars and sitting through last Sunday’s game, there is no excuse for the lack of attendance I witnessed.
Losing is hard to accept because we all put so much pride into the team and their success. But lets grow up a little here and face reality. This is the NFL. This is the NFL in Jacksonville Florida, one of 32 towns in our country to have a franchise, and the one of 32 towns that is now being laughed at and criticized harshly for not even coming close to filling the seats in our own stadium. NFL teams lose games. All of them have hard seasons and that's what makes it so great when your team turns it around and starts winning.
What I fear is going to happen sooner rather than later is we will lose the Jaguars. What do we have that would make us think otherwise? At this point it would take a miracle, and this fan base doesn’t seem capable of providing a miracle right now. If that happens, it would most definitely be the end of professional football in Jacksonville. It would also most definitely break about 25,000 hardcore Jags fan’s hearts, but would it break more than that?
Even though I no longer live in North Florida, it’s where I plan on ending up and everyday I pray that the Jaguars will still be there when I come back. In the meantime, I will own two season tickets in Section 245 for as long as the team is in Jacksonville, despite me living over 3,000 miles away. My reasoning: I will never have myself to blame for this team leaving. I'll always know I did everything I possibly could and it wasn't my fault that they left.
What I want Jacksonville and the surrounding area to do is think real hard about what it would be like if we lost the Jaguars. What impact would it make on your personal life? Are you going to live comfortably knowing that you didn’t do all you could do to keep them here? Are you going to feel guilty about it?
This is our one chance to prove the NFL made the right decision back in 1993 to award a team to Jacksonville. No more excuses. They mean nothing at this point. It’s time to buy Jacksonville Jaguar tickets and fill that stadium. Please do your part people. Once it's gone, it ain't coming back.
This is our "crunch time."

Going to Game 1. Any Magic Fans out in LA?
I just bought tickets to game 1 on ticketsnow.com. Got them for $330 each after taxes. Section 304, row 9. Going with two of my friends who are also Magic fans. If there's any other Magic fans going to this, let's link up and maybe do a bit of tailgating before the game! Gotta stick together because we will be a severe minority at the Staples Center.
Let's go Magic! Hope to see you there!

Q&A with Eben Britton

Pretty cool interview. I like this guy's attitude.
What players on the Jaguars are you looking forward to meeting?
Probably defensive tackle John Henderson. I’m really looking forward to seeing what he’s like as a guy because he’s pretty nasty on the field. Going against him in practice will be fun and make me a lot better. Also, I’m pretty excited to meet Maurice Jones-Drew.

The Jags must sign Eugene Monroe early!
If the Jets strike a deal with Mark Sanchez before the Jags get ink from Eugene Monroe, they could hurt themselves bad financially. The Jets will give out ridiculous money for rookie contracts as we all know. Like they played a part in stunting Derrick Harvey's signing last year by driving up the price at pick 6 with Vernon Gholston, they are in position to do that again with Sanchez.
Please Wayne and Gene, get this guy signed asap so we can have him when camp starts!

Jones-Drew jersey prominent in WCT Surfing Event
I was wearing this jersey the whole time during the World Championship Tour Surfing contest in Australia about a week ago. Word is everytime they showed the beach on the live webcast you'd see a white #32 running around. Made sure to make it into photos on all the websites too.
Pointless post, I know. But just letting everyone know how psyched I am! Can't sleep. Draft is in a dozen hours!
