After watching the game last night things still need to be done. Time for Granger to go so lets make a deal if New Orleans would Granger, Rush and Lance for Gordon, Landry and a rookie guard White. Gordon and Granger would equal out and Rush needs a new home for Landry would be pretty equal and so would Giving Lance a new start someplace else. Giving us a starting core of West, Roy, George, Gordon and DC with a second until of Hans, Foster, Landry, Hill and Jones. Be good punch in both units with a young athletic bench.

Why is there some that think the Pacers should not trade Granger.  He does not shoot all that well and he does not play good defense.  I read all the time specially one person leave him alone.  Pacers to get a person they need that can help do need to trade Granger and say Posey and throw in Rush.  All that wants Granger to stay all I have to say is he is NO Reggie MIler or Rodger Brown.

The contracts of T.J. Ford, Solomon Jones, Jamaal Tinsley, Jeff Foster, Mike Dunleavy and Josh McRoberts all expire, shedding 33 million against the cap, so lets see what we can do. The core group that is left is young and got a chance. We need to build a better bench, so for me I like Posey vet and McRoberts he is young – those two bring something off the bench the rest would be gone either for age or injury problems. Trade Rush and Lance and make some pick ups in free agent market. So the only players I would keep is Hans, Big Roy, Granger, Collison, George, Jones, and Posey for a vet that plays good D and McRoberts, so keep 8 and find the rest in trades or free agents and draft. If we can find a good power forward with Roy move Hans to small forward with Granger and Collison out back. That would leave Posey for small side McRoberts power and Jones for shooting guard. Good core now find some pieces power forward and a young athletic point guard.

What would you give up for a David West who wants out of New Orleans?  One thing about the Pacers is their defense is very bad they leave their man all the time and time the ump out to defend they already have the shot off and they seem to be very slow of foot, for anyone Granger or Collison is guarding has a good game. I like Collison but he is more of a shooting guard than a point.  Watching the last few games it seems only a few are playing with a passion George, Hansbrough, Hibbert  and Stephenson.

I said weeks ago when the trade dead line was coming up the Pacers needed to make a move.  We have a point guard which does not dish out assist. a shooting guard that doesnt shoot well and as a defensive unit they ALL are bad. One person seems to play with heart and that is Hansbough.  I believe the line up of Hilbert George Hans Lance and Collison is the best chance.  Granger Rush trade them and get something D Jones S Jones and  Dunleavy Foster cause of cost you have to say goodbye.  Pacers need a TRUE point guard and power forward like the old Detroit lakers or Boston teams had - mean nasty enforcer and could play.  The Pacers have stopped making that extra pass for a better shot and they do not stay with their man.  To many times while you watch the game and see a wide open player as our players are sucked inside and jump out way to late.

Thanks for what continues to be a messed up front office. Last year when they was trying to make a trade they AGAIN waited to the last minute and MJ pulled out leaving them NO time to get something else done and AGAIN this year they do the same thing wait to the last minute. Why not if you are going to trade someone just get it done so if something happens you can work on something else. Why go smaller when the Pacers need to get more physical and bigger to play with teams such as the Celtics. To add a guard to a team that as Rush Dunleavy yes he is hurt George Collison Price Jones Stephenson and you do have Ford why add more; specially when we are so weak up front. Why trade someone who is playing well where we are weak as depth and get something we do not need. If you are going to pay Ford you should at least use him to help or give the rookie time and se if he can help instead of making a one head trade. Thank god the front office is still slow and had not learned from the miss trade last year. Clean house in the office and get people who know the weak point is where you need to trade or draft.

If Utah wanted to trade Al Jefferson we could trade: S Jones, Rush, and Posey. salaries would be close and we get a beefy power forward. With a starting line up of Jefferson Hilbert and either Roberts or Hans with Granger and Collison outback and a second unit of Roberts or Hans Foster George Jones and Dunleavy and still have Price and Stephenson that can play. Nice young team that would be dangerous with youth speed and high scoring.

Well the Nets would get Granger, Ford and Dunleavy that finally rids the Pacers of Fords contract and another big one in Dunleavys. Pacers get Favors the big power forward they need Ben Uzhol the young guard to add more depth since Price does have injury problems and number one draft pick. Gives Pacers breathing room on cap and rids them of big contracts. Still has as starters Favors Hilbert Hansbourgh or Roberts at small and George Colison with the bench looking good with Jones Price Uzhol at guards and which ever is not starting at forward in Roberts or Hans Posey and Rush at shooting gurad or a small forward. Very good YOUNG team with a great front line young athletic.

The Pacers are as bad as I have seen them in years.  First of all they do not play as a team and they play NO defense.  I believe the starting line up is wrong. They need to make some moves'1 Rush is not a point nor a good shooting guard trade him, Dunlevey trade him while he is worth something to LAC, Granger trade him for someone that can do more that shot 30 times a game cause my kids could move around him for he plays no defense. Last time for a coaching change. Start murphy hilbert hans head and price. those guys play with a passion. bring in mcroberts jones jones ford foster and rotate them in and out eep fresh an run teams to they drop.
