Wells or BJ Ryan
Apparently according to MLBTR the Blue Jays might be fielding offers for one or even both of these guys. I say we go full blown after them this could be a perfect fit for us Wells would be a great LF option with great power and run producing capabilities. Ryan is just a beast and would allow Gonzo to be a set up. I think Wren should go all out and I don't mean all of our prospects. The Blue Jays will most likely only want a couple of projectable prospects because they are looking to dump $. I am thinking maybe a Gorkys, Locke, Jo Jo or C Mo, then another position player or international signing from this year. I think Wells could be had and the Braves need him.

Today's game
Why is there a home game at 4:30 in the afternoon on a monday?? I have never seen a Braves game at this time, espically during the week in the middle of the regular season! It just seems a bit odd to me...anyone know the reasoning behind it?

Just so everyone knows
For everyone who thinks the Braves should've kept Tex and tried to resign him:
We offered him 5 years $100 mil last off-season, and it was rejected. There is no way in hell we would've paid him more, in fact I'm surprised we offered him $20 million a year, considering our highest paid player this year is making around $15 million.
So no one is allowed to bitch about Liberty Media not allowing us to spend money on the team. Thank you.
In the words of Will Ferrell from Step Brothers: "What a doucher."

Mike Hampton in Rome
Hampton is starting tomorrow night, so come out to the ol ballpark in Rome, because it will probably be the last time you ever get to see him pitch cause you know he's gonna get hurt again! Game starts at 7 at State Mutual Stadium!
