My new strategy for not being completely pissed when we disgracefully lose... this week I picked the Saints to lose on the Fun Office Pools site.  That way, even if we lose, I still get some points for it and I don't feel as bad.  This week I got 2 points for the loss, and as a consequence, got 2nd place overall for the week.  I'm feeling pretty good about this sad ass shit of a season.

Ok, once again, at this point, I am merely typing in order to fulfill the silly and arbitrary 75 word minimum for fan posts.  I wonder if this is something that is set by the SBNation blog system or if it is something that Saintsational Dave can address personally.  Here is a list of my favorite beers, no particular order: J.W. Dundee Honey Brown, Red Stripe, Guinness, Asahi, Samuel Adams Black Lager, others, but I must have reached 75 words by now.

I saw my sister yesterday and she told me a funny story about the Saints/Cardinals game a couple weeks back.  She was in the other room as her 5 year old son and husband were watching the game.  Her son came in, super excited.

- "Mom!

- "What?"

- "Guess what!"

- "Huh?'

- "The Saints are beating the Woodpeckers 24 to 10!"

I was this close to paying Cox Communications an arm and a leg for HD cable and terrible customer service when I stumbled across the fact that you can get high def using friggin bunny ears!  My only reason to get cable was for the couple regular season Saints games that don't come on network tv, along with the preseason.  It'd also be nice to watch Monday Night Football, but hey there's always friends' houses and bars for that sort of thing.  Anyway, has anyone else here reliably watched the games with over the air signals?

Don't let Cox give you a serious dicking!  Watch football the way your forefathers did! Use antennas!
