You know we seem to do this for Trade Ideas so not to clog up the side board I figured hey might as well do it for the whole KP saga, I for one don't really care much about whether KP stays or go's, don't get me wrong I like him and appreciate all that he has done for the Blazers and I am pretty sure Draft days are going to be a lot less exciting with someone new but hey that's life in the Sports entertainment biz, your hot one second and not the next, so you won't see me protesting outside the Rose Garden or even writing a blog about my frustrations with upper management because of this, but that doesn't mean you can't, I just wish you would all do it in one place, so with that said go ahead and use this thread to post whatever it is you want to say about the whole KP, Tom Penn, Upper Management/ Vulcan thing, someone is listening even on the bottom of the thread...

First off let me say I do not believe we will be winning a championship this year or next year, and I also do not believe even if Miller was to stay he would be picked up for his third year option at 7.8 million, so with that said I propose 2 different trade options. 

Trade Option 1 - Trade Miller to Indiana for Jeff Foster and a 1st round pick, I know Jeff Foster has a bad back and can probably only give us 15 minutes a game this season and next but that may be just enough to help us out in the center position until both of our bigs our back and healthy. We could use the 1st round pick to pick up another rookie big to develop in case Pryz does not stick around after next season

Trade Option 2 - Trade Miller and Rudy to Washington for Caron Butler - I think by doing this we move Martell to the back up SG position and Batum to the backup SF this gives Batum a solid veteran to learn under who does not need to be "the man".

To me either of these trades accomplishes what I want, a future PG tandem of Bayless and Mills. So what do you think? Critique away and remember this is a trade drawer so feel free to leave your own suggestions here rather then clogging the board.

I know Greg Oden's hurt and out for the season we are hurting player wise and could use some help especially at the center position considering Joel is not known for staying healthy himself, so I have a proposal we trade Andre Miller straight up for Marcin Gortat this will give us a nice backup to the center position until Greg Oden is back up and running next season, and we could keep Gortat in the event Pryz opts out. Orlando would get a starting PG to fill in for Nelson, plus Gortat wouldn't be complaining about minutes anymore.  I know parting with Miller would be difficult for a lot of people but lets face it he hasn't meshed with our star player and we know Roy ain't going anywhere. So what do you think? You got a better idea?

So the last Junk Drawer has inspired me to take on the great Debate, I have found that Some people live for the Sword and the Sea While others live for the throwing Star and Hiding in the Shadows, personally I'm a little of Both I like the Sword but don't care much for the sea I'm big on Japan but don't feel the need to hide which is why the Samurai with their discipline and Honor will always win. So of the 3 which Genre do you choose and which is your favorite (Pirate, Ninja, or Samurai) Movie?

3 team Trade Proposal surrounded around helping Utah rid themselves of Boozer and Benifiting us and Houston in the Process

Utah will Trade Carlos Boozer to the Houston Rockets

Houston will Trade Shane Battier and Carl Landry to Portland Trailblazers

Portland will Trade Travis Outlaw to the Utah Jazz

This gives Utah a expiring player who can also play, a real nice Trade exception that they can use a year from the date of the trade. Oh yeah and they can match Milsap with out going into luxory Cap hell

It gives Houston a nice Center replacement for Yao for a year, while they hope Yao will be back next year

It gives us a tough starting SF upgrade and a nice backup PF

We find out that during the Draft we basically trade Sergio for nothing because we could have got Pedegraph at 33, then we move up in the first round for no reason because we could have got Claver at 24, Blair was not even on our radar?, We go after Turk a player we don't need and offer him too much money if you ask me, they tell fans that Bayless is working out with Oden when Bayless says they are not, We don't sign Roy or LA when the Cap has been lowered so were already getting them at a better price,  we can't get a deal done for Hinrich, Prince, whoever.... I am beginning to wonder if this poor off season is making up for the great ones we have had in years past, a little balance maybe, whatever it is though I hope our juju changes soon...
