My name is Joey. I'm 16 years of age. Huge fan of the teams shown here on the profile. I know more sports than any 16 year old should ever know, but I'm proud of it. Hope to get a chance to write here on SB Nation for a blog and then my desired career is a sports journalist and/or sports broadcaster. Future's looking bright.

Gang Green Nation Kind of BIG NEWS

I was just watching PTI on ESPN and apparently, the Jets are strongly interested in Randy Moss. Yeah, that Randy Moss. I haven't seen anything on the internet about it yet, though.

I really don't know if I want this guy. He's a very good receiver don't get me wrong, but I first doubt that he's still the receiver that he was in 2007. Plus, I just don't like his character and I kind of thing he would screw things up with the chemistry.

What are your guys' thoughts?

Gang Green Nation Aiden

What's up Jets Nation? I'm beginning the process of making a Jets montage video from the 2010 season and 2011 playoffs and would like to have some video of Aiden, the kid who passed away after he met Mark Sanchez. It's just a great story and I can't do this video without him being in it. Just wouldn't feel right.

So if anyone has some video of him for whatever reason, would you mind passing it my way? I'll be very, very thankful. God bless.

Gang Green Nation Five Years Later

Five years ago, it was my family, myself, and a bunch of close family friends in our living room watching the Jets and Steelers play in the 2004 divisional round game.

I was only 10 at the time, but I understood that magnitude of this game. Realizing how good these Steelers were and knowing it would take a Herculean effort to beat them.

We held a lead, on quite a few occasions. I remember Reggie Tongue getting an interception. I remember a punt return, from Santana Moss I believe.

I also remember Doug Brien missing his first field goal then Big Ben throwing a pick to David Barrett and knowing we had another shot. To this day, I still can't believe Brien missed two field goals.

To see Pittsburgh finally drive and win the game, it was a heart-wrenching finish. I ran to my room, fell to my bed, and I just cried and cried and cried knowing it was over. The one man who came in and comforted me was my dad, the one responsible for me being the Jets fan that I am today.

He said something along the lines of, "Joey, it's all right. There's always another season. We'll get there, Joey, we'll get there."

That man, my dad, passed away a month later at the age of 45.

Five years later, we got the Steelers again. Only this time, my dad has a different seat. Only this time, I think things will happen a bit differently.

Gang Green Nation Feelin' Good

What's up Jets Nation? I woke up this morning feeling pretty passionate and confident about this team. I'm just thinking over and over in my head that this team can do it. I mean there is no question.

Gang Green Nation Can't Wait 'til Next Season

There is no guarantee that the Jets will even make it back to the playoffs next season, but it's pretty close. The Jets just lost to the Colts in a grueling AFC Championship Game, coming out with dignity and self-belief. Yet people still don't believe in us for the 2010 season, but I'm sure the Jets will be glad to shock the world again.

The Jets will return with most of their staff and team, but you can go ahead and add some draft picks, and yeah Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington, two players who could bring that 9-7 record much higher. Mark Sanchez obviously improved during the playoffs, and in my opinion had his best game against the toughest defense he had to face in the playoffs against the Colts. I can't give enough praise. He should be able to learn from his mistakes from the regular season, and I see a very big year from the Sanchize.

I see the defense getting stronger, getting better, getting smarter, and getting faster. We do have a tough schedule in having to face the AFC North and NFC North, along with the Texans and Broncos as all of our non-division opponents. It won't be easy, but it isn't meant to be. Defense is key in those games against the Packers, Vikings, Steelers, and Ravens

All the parts could finally come together in 2010, and I honestly would not be surprised to see a division title out of this team. I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Gang Green Nation I'm Hungry

In the thoughts of Jets DT Kris Jenkins, "I'm hungry." Jets fans would say the same. Some were around in 1969 when the Jets did the improbable by upsetting the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Super Bowl III, which still stands as the greatest moment in Jets history. It's about time to create a new greatest moment.

Just like 1969, the Jets are underdogs against the Colts. We got through them once, we can get through them again. It's a daunting task, just like before. It's a star quarterback against a young quarterback, just like before. Who's to say we can't do this all over again?
