T. Boone Pickens Donation Completely Gone

T. Boone Pickens mad a donation of $165 million dollars to Oklahoma State, however, he retained the donation in his hedge fund. At one point, it ballooned to over $300 million dollars. Because of its increased value, Oklahoma State borrowed money to improve their facilities. Unfortunately, because of the economy and sinking oil prices, the $165 million dollars is completely gone and Oklahoma State is left with:

A $300 million dollar loan and no money to pay it off.

Of course, this is only on the blogs right now, so it may not be true.

I would like to throw out a post about Cody Johnson tonight. That guy knows where and how to use his body to gain the most out of his carries. He is a fucking badass. So far, I have not seen him lose a yard. He goes forward every single time. Also, he is our back on the goal line. My favorite player this year, Irby, is out, so I am now adopting and riding big nuts of Cody Johnson.

Bean - Is he jersey worthy? Possibly.....

Poor Melton. If he would only have known his place.....

I guess this doesn't apply to the linebackers, who have been the weak link all season.

Sophomore safety Ishie Oduegwu probably will start against Nebraska in place of senior Erick Jackson. Oduegwu replaced Jackson in the first half against Baylor and played the second half in Jackson's place. Oduegwu's emergence as a prime-time player has relieved concern about have an inexperienced secondary next year. Jackson and fellow safety
Marcus Griffin are seniors, and Brown said the coaches want to use Oduegwu because he has been practicing and playing at a high level, but also to be sure there are some experienced guys in the secondary next year.

N E W B S

If any of y'all want to take your frustrations out on someone, why not check out this comment from Lorraine Ali, a reporter for Newsweek, written on Jena Bush:

And so are we—about Jenna Bush. Just two months shy of her 26th birthday, the White House's once rowdy twin has re-emerged as a spokesperson for global equality, children's rights and safe sex. It's quite a contrast from the Jenna of yesteryear, whose hard-partying ways were publicized in that falling-down photo, the fake ID bust and an official family appearance where she flashed the devil's horns (a favorite hand sign of Ozzy Osbourne's) as the rest of the Bushes waved and smiled.

Devil's Horns?

Here is my e-mail to their editor at webeditors@newsweek.com

To whom it may concern:

This is the most ridiculous, uneducated comment I have ever read from a national media outlet:

"And so are we—about Jenna Bush. Just two months shy of her 26th birthday, the White House's once rowdy twin has re-emerged as a spokesperson for global equality, children's rights and safe sex. In case you were wondering, Jena went to the University of Texas. The Texas Longhorns. As in Hook'em Horns. Now, can you and your newsweek reporter, Lorraine Ali, figure out what's wrong with your story now?

Devil's Horns? Really? Where did that come from? What a joke of a comment...

Respectfully,

Joe Newberry

P.S. - 1)Colt is still our guy. 2) Our linebackers suck.

N E W B S

I am guessing that after their recovery, they would have thrown a 45 yard TD over Palmer and before Kelson could get there.

Just a guess.

N E W B S

Coach: Big 12 admits missing call in Texas-Arkansas St.
JONESBORO, Ark. -- Arkansas State coach Steve Roberts says he was told by the Big 12 Conference's supervisor of football officials that game officials wrongly overturned ASU's recovery of an onside kick in the final minute of the No. 7 Longhorns 21-13 victory on Saturday.

"We got a confirmation [Tuesday] that they missed the call," Roberts said.

The Indians were flagged with 56 seconds left in the game for an improper formation. Texas recovered a subsequent onside kick attempt and ran out the clock.

Roberts said the game film showed the Indians had enough players on both sides of the ball before the kick.

"There's nothing you can do about it now," Roberts said. "I don't have a reaction because a reaction's worthless."

The Big 12 Conference said officials coordinator Walt Anderson was not immediately available for comment Wednesday.
