This trade involves two teams that I think improve, the blazers and orlando, and two teams that need to cut cost, the heat and bobcats.  Orlando improves because instead of redick backing up carter, martell can.  I also think when outlaw returns he is a better starter than barnes.  Miami cuts some cost plus they get blake.  Charlotte cuts some cost plus they need some size and rebounding if they lose wallace.  Halsem can fill in plus he is only a one year contract.  They also get a very young, cheap, small forward with a lot of potential.  We improve because we get a banger in bass and we get a great rebounding and scoring small forward.  Wallace's rebounding can make up for what many see as a lack of rebounding from la.  I know we are giving up 3 small forwards for 1 but we have been playing a 3 guard line up a lot anyways.  With this line up, bayless would back up miller and rudy will back up roy.  Bayless can also slide to the 2 guard and roy can slide to the small forward position.  I think rudy can fill in anywhere.  It is really late and I am tired so has me being tired made me crazy?  Or does this make sense?
