TRADE NO. 5: Phoenix trades Marcin Gortat (50 cents) and Jared Dudley (quarter) to Minnesota for the no. 2 pick (50 cents), Jonny Flynn (dime), and Nik Pekovic (dime). Final tally: Phoenix (70 cents), Minnesota (75 cents).

Winner winner chicken dinner! Phoenix rebuilds around the local kid (Derrick Williams) and whatever they get for Nash when he finally breaks; Minnesota gets a real center (check out Gortat's March-April splits if you don't believe me) and a proven swingman who helps its chemistry and joins forces with Love to form a multimedia superpower (Dudley); and Jonny Flynn goes from the most screwed-up situation possible to Steve Nash Point Guard Camp. Everybody wins! Now I'm feeling it … one more trade!

This is the first article that I posted over at my own blog (it is just a blog about whatever I think is interesting, not just sports, but as I love sports there will be lots of sports on it). Its focus is on what Dallas did to win the series against Miami (as opposed to what Miami didn't do which seems to be what everyone is talking about). I think though there are some things the Suns could take away from Dallas's win and apply to themselves. How Dallas Won | The Cole Mind

I know this is way off topic but I know that all BSOTSers are great people so I wanted to post this here. In the past (though not as much recently b/c of time constraints) I have posted numerous Suns wallpapers here on BSOTS, In that vein I have created a new Help Japan wallpaper and Tshirt to help raise money for the crazy awful stuff that is happening in the Land of the Rising Sun (like how I tied it in there). Anyways you can check it all out here. So please check it out and do what you can to help.

I was talking (emailing actually) my dad about last nights game and telling him that three things really killed the Suns last night. 1. Frye (no description needed), 2. Lakers crazy shooting from 3 (again self explanatory) and 3. Amare'e's PNR D. It's one thing to be owned by a great post player with some nice moves who has a distinct height advantage as Gasol does.....this is at least understandable, but to be consistently destroyed on the PNR, especially when you are long and athletic and not say...SHAQ is embarrassing.

Now I have a regular full time job so I didn't have time to scour last night's game and compile the most egregious examples of Amar'e's lack of D...but luckily for us the guys @ NBA playbook did. So check it out and see...this is what killed the Suns in the 4th.

So here we go...I think in everyone's mind this is the series we both feared and hoped for all wrapped up in a tidy little bow. Gone are Bowen and Horry but there's still the Big 3 to worry about. Anyways this is the first of what will be at least 2 wallpapers for the series. This is a re-image of one I did years ago (I think the first Nash year) but it's still pretty cool. Hi all! I am just visiting for a quick post up from Bright Side of the Sun. I am a graphic designer and huge Suns fan. I have been creating sports wallpapers for the past couple years. So finally we are here! I know that I have been away a bit this year and haven't posted much in the way of wallpapers but I am back! It's feels really good to make a Suns playoff wallpaper again this year....after missing out last year. For the first round I decided simple was better so this one is pretty simple but I like the look. If we make it to the next round look for something with a little more umph!
